4th of July week

Phil was easily accessible and was very gracious as his bbq pit was worn out. But he went and got one within a hour or so. Great time. We all enjoyed the quiet woods, and the fireflies. I’m sure anyone would enjoy this place. Thanks.

Quiet & cozy stay

This was a nice, private property with trees on either side. Sitting on the porch with coffee and listening to the birds was our favorite part. The landowner made it easy and effective to communicate with.

As described but better in person!

Working with the owner was perfect. We stayed in contact most of the weekend. While that may sound bad, we had severe weather with a hail storm that blew through and he was in contact to make sure our internet was working since we were stuck in doors. The place is clean and very inviting. I prefer a larger bed, but the full bed was very comfortable. The only thing I think people should know is the walk to the water is like a hiking trail. My older Mom and handicapped brother couldn't make the hike down to the water but my teen son and I were fine. Once you get to the water, it has a sandy beach and gradually gets deeper so its perfect for swimming or just hanging out.

I was impressed with the place. It was one of the few with lake access. It had plenty of parking even for a boat trailer. Philip was friendly and quick to respond.

Jewel of the Forest

Loved the location! Super quiet and private! I grew up in this area so getting to stay at this place was awesome for me! The host was very kind and communicated with us if we had any questions. The path to the lake was private and we had our own little beach area to ourselves. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Girls Weekend

Had an amazing time staying at this house. It was very cozy. We love to float in the lake all day and the waterfront is perfect for that. There is quite a hike going to and from the house. If you’re carrying a lot of can be quite difficult but overall very nice place.

Beautiful Property, Fantastic Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The pictures definitely don't do this house justice. The home is beautifully done on the inside and is very spacious! Big kitchen, dining table that will seat 8 (which was great for game night) and two futons in the living area that allow plenty of seating for everyone. The path to the lake was fairly short and the sandy beach on the water was perfect for the kids to swim. You honestly can't beat this location. It's within a gated community, so it felt extra secure to let the kids play outside as well. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice getaway!

Exactly what we needed

Lovely cabin close to the lake

The cabin is a great size and could fit a lot of people in it. There is a bit of a walk to the lake but i enjoyed it, it wasn't that bad. Overall happy with my stay and would book the place again

Good stay!

Nice cabin, had all the amenities listed. The only negative was the water was a little walking distance if you're old with health problems and more rock than sand. We didn't fish but looked like it would be a good fishing spot! The host, Phil was very friendly, informative and willing to help! Hopefully will make it back there next year!

Weekend getaway

The house was in a nice, quiet location. It was setup beautifully. The pictures don’t do it justice. The owner was super helpful and friendly, going above and beyond for anything we needed.

Close to Ebenezer Park

We really enjoyed this location. Private road with security gate. Walking distance from Ebenezer Park that has a nice beach area. Property also has a short walking path down to the lake. We will be back.
