"We (5 couples) had a very relaxing time at the villa - many thanks to Christine for taking such good care of us. Great location on a cliff, meaning also that others planning a stay should be aware of the steep access road from the valley up to the property, somewhat narrow parking (coming from different directions, we had 4 cars that were fun to arrange :) …) and some steps down to the villa. Absolutely nothing that should deter anybody- we all loved it, esp the views, the hikes down to the...

"The property was excellent and even better than the pictures provided.The outside area was the stand out point with various areas to relax or sunbathe. "Pretty much in the middle of nowhere, along a really busy road, next to a garbage/recycling place. You show up in front of a closed gate you can't see through, with a bunch of lock boxes. Great. There's some sort of doorbell, but of course no one is there to answer. Now you have to dig through your Expedia files to try and find the hotel's phone number, which you call but nobody answers. It's 10 minutes later, you're exhausted after a long flight and bus ride, standing in the hot sun by the side of a highway, cursing the Gods and most especially the hotel owners. Desperate, you text the hotel's phone number, and apparently that's the key to getting the code to one of the lock boxes. I hate this hotel for not having a human to check you in. "

"Stunning villa!!! Pool was great, had everything you needed, the outside bar was amazing, the pool table was used often so was the hot tub. Monika was always happy to help, always checking to see if your ok..Only little thing I would say is it’s quite out of the way so a car would be advised. There is a Spanish bar, bakery, pizza, Indian, that are only 5-10 mins walk away. I would advise to take mosquitoe repellent and after bite spray. Playa (beach) l’Arenal is only 10 mins away in a taxi which is around 12 … Overall had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday."
