Beautiful spot on the river

Overall very nice vacation spot. A little smaller than I anticipated, but we still had plenty of room with our family of 7. The deck & patio are beautiful right near the River.

Thanksgiving Trip

We enjoyed our stay! Location was great! Only complaint was bunk bed room.. it was really hard to open and close doors, had to be done from the inside to open, as bunk beds block door. We had 11 year olds staying in there so it was okay, but just warning for those with younger children. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all we loved the house, and we had a really good time. But when we got there the lot beside of the house had a mini camping area that was not in the description. When your on the porch or in the hot tub, you have people almost in the back yard. I have to say the campers were really quiet.

Great Place to stay and fish on the New River

House was older and had an old smell to it. For use on the River it was perfect as we were not in the house for long periods of time. Location was great. Great wade fishing opportunity up and down the river in knee/waist high water. Caught 15 fish in 2 hours the afternoon we arrived.

Lovely River View

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is older but kitchen and bathrooms are updated. There are antiques everywhere. It is a bit dark because of the wood but everything is comfortable and the kitchen is well furnished with anything you might need. The deck was pure bliss. Loved the river view and the sound. There is quite a bit a traffic noise since the house sits right on NC 16 but the view makes up for it.
