It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing.」

For the same price as a traditional cottage, we got to bask in the beauty of 19th century architecture, at least 40 foot ceilings, and homey touches that made everything inviting. While we never saw Daniel, he felt fully available through his extensive binder and communication with details on the property and attractions in the area. 「Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back」

「This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.」

「With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!」

「Cute cozy cabin with everything you need. Make sure you have everything food wise when you arrive, closest store is 40 minutes away. Many spots to swim and fish down the road to walk or couple minutes drive. Me and my kids enjoyed it, nobody wanted to leave. You can tube up and down the creek. Cough some trout and grilled it, was the best. If you plan any trips to Grandfather mountain or zip lining, make it a day trip. I did my gps in before I left the house, so directions worked the whole way...

「My huaband enjoyed every minute of hiking with our Labrador. The cabin was cozy and the views were fantastic. We will be back! There were a lot of ticks on the trails (nothing to do with the property), so anyone bringing a dog, make sure they are protected with something. The deck that goes around the cabin is amazing! You can be out even if its raining. The host answered all of our questions within minutes! Highly recommend!」
