This is the most beautiful property, and Adi and the rest of the staff are so kind and helpful. I can't wait to come back.

Atmospheric hotel
This was my third stay at the hotel. It is an old building with much character, friendly and helpful proprietors and a wonderful location. A good breakfast is included.
It is in no way luxurious but has everything I need and I prefer it to a large impersonal fancier place.
Staying in this hotel was a wonderful experience: It is very easy to get to the city by bus and they were awesome hosts! Even when our taxi mixed up the address they fixed it. We are so thankful!!!
Toda for making our Jerusalem experience so great!

Lovely convenient location. Quiet. Comfortable bed and AC. Room was clean but shower curtain old and meeds replacing, and inside cabinets not clean enough. One bedside light missing. No hot shower. Lovely breakfast in the garden.
Charming, older building in a delightful area of Jerusalem. Great to have a personal welcome rather than a key box. Served breakfast felt much more special than a help yourself buffet.
Needs some attention: front gate handle, bedside light fitting broken, kettle needs replacing, overhead showernot working, basin draining very slowly.
Generally in need of a facelift, to make it what it ought to be - a wonderful building in a fantastic location with a stunning garden coutyard.
Adi, the owner was very reasonable and helpful.
In order to gain entrance to the property you have to call her and she opens the gate. When I arrived, my phone was not yet working. I had to stop a passerby and ask if he would kindly make that call for me. Had I not found someone with a working phone, that would have been a problem
personne agreable mais hoteltres redumentaire les salles de bains catastrophiques les équipements horibles

Einfacheres Hotel in Jerusalem in guter Lage
Jerusalem Garden Home is a hidden little gem! Ronny and his wife Adi have remodeled his family home from the 1920s into a fabulous bed-and-breakfast style hotel within a short taxi ride to all of the major sites of the Old City. After each day of sightseeing, we looked forward to returning home to the peace and quiet of the charming Baka neighborhood. Adi greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived late to the hotel and helped us to navigate the well-organized Jerusalem bus systems. Ronny and Adi provided us with a delicious Israeli breakfast each morning, complete with mint tea. Adi even printed our travel documents for us when we needed to leave for the airport. We can't recommend this hotel enough. If you need a home base while you explore Old Jerusalem, this is the place. Just book it!
Very nice hotel, approx 40 min walk to western wall, easy access to buses, wonderfully friendly husband and wife team owners, rooms clean, comfortable, quiet, and a delightful breakfast included.
A nice hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely breakfast in the garden. Good location.
The only negative thing was that we woke up early because of the kindergarten just outside the hotel.
This is a small hotel, consisting of five rooms. The area is quiet, and the house is set back from the street, creating a reserved and secluded / treed area. Within the enclosed garden area, there are stone stairs going down and then up to the house, making transportation of luggage difficult. Persons with walking difficulties / disabilities would be very challenged because of these stairs. Breakfast is a preset tray, with choice of eggs, not the Israeli buffet style common in larger hotels. The area outside is quiet, though it is some distance from the city center. There is a free shuttle from Tachanah Harishonah (First Station) to Sha'ar Ha'Ashpah (Dung Gate) where the Kotel (Western Wall) is located. However, it is a good 10-15 minute walk to the shuttle area. When I arrived, there was no one about, and it was very hot (90+ Fahrenheit). After a while, someone showed up, who called the owner, Adi. She speaks fluent English, though the others on staff have very limited foreign language skills. I stayed for three days, the room was nice, though WiFi connectivity was often spotty. On the last morning, the WiFi was inoperative for a number of hours.
Compared to other Jerusalem hotels in the same daily charge range, this was okay. But it is not a first class hotel. I'm not sure if I will want to return when I revisit Jerusalem.
