"Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!"

"This mountain cabin features wrap around decks that are nestled in rhododendron and offer some privacy. It is perfectly situated for a relaxing Banner Elk town visit, a Beech Mt. adventure, and treks into Boone. We enjoyed the games and snacks provided by the host. The house offered everything we were looking for. And the host was very proactively available. "

"The house is close to App State, downtown, and easy to travel around the area. Clean as described, excellent host. Would stay here again. "

"Our church group had a great time at the cabin. It is definitely large enough for 30 people with plenty of parking spots. Definitely recommend for those looking to go as a large group. Plus location is great as it is very close for things skiing or sledding. "

"**Peaceful Stay in a Beautiful Setting** We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Swiss Mountain Village in Blowing Rock, NC. The property is beautiful and peaceful—tucked away in the mountains with a charming, rustic feel. Our accommodations were cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night. We were only passing through and stayed just one night to break up a long drive, but it was a great choice. Even though we arrived after check-in and left before staff were on-site, they were incredibly helpful and responsive via phone and email, making the process easy and stress-free. The area itself is absolutely stunning—clean mountain air, lovely views, and a great spot to disconnect and recharge. It’s the kind of place where you wish you had more time to slow down and take it all in. My family would love to come back for a longer visit and spend some real quality time here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape. "
