The last renter had not done a very good job cleaning utensils, glasses and dishes so first thing we did was wash everything in the dishwasher. The gas stovetop did not appear to be working, but as we were only there for 2 nights we did not bring this up with the owner, so there is likely a solution to that. "This is an amazing gem of a hotel. Karine showed us to our room & around the hotel, which is beautiful and which has a breakfast room with gourmet snacks available to guests. She suggested hikes for us and advised us that because it was a holiday the restaurants would be closed for dinner. She suggested some restaurants to us and made us a lunch reservation where we ate the most delicious meal. After our visit to Montserrat Karine built us a fire so we could relax in one of the beautiful and comfortable guest spaces. The hotel is gorgeous, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable, spacious & had everything you could need for a wonderful stay. So glad we chose this hotel."
