Wonderful property and stay
The farmhouse is idyllic, peaceful and well appointed. Perfect location near the Cities but feels like you’re far far away nestled in beautiful farmland. David was as good a host as I’ve found with rentals, communicative and helpful and informative. He and his family care about guests and their property, and it shows. Our long weekend in Jordan worked out perfectly for 3 generations plus dog. Would definitely stay here again.

Country Respite
The property was lovely. The house is beautifully restored with exquisite attention to detail. The farm is alive with birds and wildlife with a variety of place to sit, rock and enjoy nature. It has beautiful walking paths, and was a dog's paradise. We travel with our Golden Retriever, Fletcher. He loved it as well.

Fun Family Weekend
We had a great time at the Stone Farm House. We have been here before and came back because my granddaughters said it is their favorite place to stay. Plenty of activities so no need to leave the farm. We did visit Minnesota’s largest candy store which is just a few miles away😁. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay this is perfect.

Winter Wonderland
Perfect setting for our Christmas visit to Minnesota. We enjoyed the fields filled with snow very much and loved letting our kids loose to enjoy nature. This was the perfect escape from our busy lives. It felt very welcoming and easy to settle in right away. The owner was extremely gracious and communication was quick and efficient. We will be back.

Great home in a great location
We were looking for a taste of rural Minnesota, which we found. This is a beautiful home is located in the rolling hills, with large open spaces and amazing views. The visit was made even more enjoyable by a owner who seemed to make every effort to ensure we had great say. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for the very essence of why people move to rural locations.

This is a really cute and functional home on a beautiful property. it worked great for our family and felt like staying at a great aunt's house on the farm. Lots of outdoor activities. We hiked and played ping pong built fired and the kids were obsessed with the tree swing. The home had comfy beds and ample supplies for our family of four. Could easily bring 2-3 more people and still get privacy. The views were great, the home is cute and cozy and had everything we needed and a few delightful surprises. David was very easy to communicate with and provided some great documentation so we could find our way around. I felt like we understood what needed to be done pretty well. The location is honestly great. It's not in the cities but Jordan has every you'd need in town including some surprisingly good food. It's really close to a number of attractions in the city. we spent the day about town and came home to a cozy place to let the kids burn off their energy outside and sleep well for the next day. A perfect stay!

Recharge Haven
This stay was the PERFECT recharge and relax location. Everything was perfect, and so secluded and quiet and just so peaceful. From the crows flocking in the morning to the sand hill cranes swooping in to feed in the fields, to the evening walks to the back 40...all just perfect. If you are looking for the perfect place to get away, unwind, and relax with virtually no hassles I highly recommend Stone House Farm. Host David was awesome and very responsive. The house is impeccable and perfectly suited to a relaxed stay. The yard is amazing with multiple, shades sitting areas that are perfect for playing games or just sitting about reading. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Stone House Farm is far and away the best rental house we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Everything about this home exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. The property and setting are truly spectacular. We were immersed in and rejuvenated by a wide spectrum of nature’s beauty. Terrific Getaway!
We were very fortunate to come across the Stone House Farm when looking at various properties to celebrate our anniversary. Our stay couldn't have been more peaceful and relaxing and since the weather was very accommodating, we enjoyed reading on the swinging bench and long walks on the back 40 trails including the drive leading up to the house. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty to do for entertainment with a pool table, ping pong, and a nice flat screen TV. The property is kept up really well and the appliances all seem new and easy to use. Many thanks to David and Brodie for their hospitality and we look forward to staying at the Stone House Farm again.

Amazing retreat!
This place blew us away! This updated farm house had everything and was the perfect retreat from the cities. We spent most days hiking around the farm and wandering the vast back 40’. You can really tell how much the owners care about this gem and we will likely be back!

We recently stayed several days at the stone farmhouse in Jordan, MN. The property sits on very private and quiet acreage several miles from Jordan. The setting is beautiful and the home appeared to be completely remodeled inside. The decor is very nice, the kitchen and baths are top notch, and the beds are actually very comfortable. The owner texted a couple times to be sure all was well. This was a nice bonus. We need to travel back to MN on occasion in the future and fully intend on staying at the stone farmhouse again.

beautiful surrounding for wedding week
The Stone House Farm was the best place I have ever stayed outside my house. It was perfect in every way: kitchen was equipped for a family dinner with the groom's and bride's family; the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular (complete with turkey sounds) and every view has a bench seat to share with your loved ones; the house was immaculately beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean; and the kitchen table was big enough for my best friend and sister to assist in making the groom's cakes for the wedding. We were so fortunate to have a place with all the hubbub of the wedding to go to for relaxation and peace. The back 40 acres offers even more beautiful experiences, including a hello from the cows! We absolutely would love to stay again... from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything!

Our family usually rents lake cabins, but we wanted to try something different, so we rented the Stone House Farm for a few days. The property is amazing. So beautiful and so many trails to explore. The house is fantastic. Great farmhouse style and very comfortable and clean. There is something fun to do in every corner of the yard: trampoline, fire pit, tree swing, bbq, etc. We also had several family ping pong tournaments in the garage. David was super helpful with everything we needed. Thanks for the hospitality!

A Perfect Respite
The Farmhouse was the perfect getaway for our family of four! An easy drive from the Twin Cities, we found the property well-equipped and in terrific condition. The kitchen and other interior renovations suit the house beautifully and give an open, light, and updated feel to the house. Our 11-year-old son especially loved the trampoline and I enjoyed jumping and laying on it a few times myself to take in the tree canopy and evening skies. There are several well-positioned benches and swings on which to sit and enjoy the views, and we used the grill area many times for family meals. We went into Prior Lake one evening for ice cream and took walks around the "Back Forty." Corn hole, the mini-billiards table and horseshoes were fun. We wish we'd had time for a few more games. Lovely property!

Tranquil weekend retreat
This home was exactly how the listing described it… restful and tranquil! The farm site was perfect for our girls weekend. We wanted to have a relaxing weekend away from the craziness of life and this home exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the back 40 acres with walks in the morning and the evening taking in the beautiful landscape. The raspberries were in season when we stayed so we were able to pick some enjoy them each morning with our breakfast which was a nice treat. David was great in communicating and checking in to make for sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home as a place to stay and we will return in the future!

The house was fantastic, all remodeled and bright. The property is huge, with crops, rolling grass hills, with walking trails. Very peaceful, only birds and the breeze. We enjoyed just sitting, looking out over the landscape, trips to the biggest candy store, and fires in the evening. David was in contact with us several times to make sure everything was good. Beautiful Farm Home for Quiet Family Time
We rented the Stone Farm House for a long weekend to get together with kids and grandkids. Perfect size for four adults and two children. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. So many on site activities to keep everyone busy. Awesome area with hiking trail and pretty pond. Kids loved the trampoline and watching all the birds. David was very friendly and spent time showing us around the property. Everyone had a great time - hope to return for a longer stay.

David and his family’s property are just perfection! The farmhouse is stunning, the land is tranquil and serene, and the nearby city and attractions are wonderful! David and his wife are just wonderful. They gave us a tour of their property, and were just a pleasure to meet and get to know! The house is spotless with it’s own homey character. Get away to the country
We loved our stay at the Stonehouse Farm. It was better than I imagined. The house is brand new, new furnishings, comfy beds with cozy blankets. The light in the mornings in the house is spectacular. We enjoyed walking the back 40, saw a deer, swans, pheasant, two eagles... Amazing to be 45 minutes from home but feel like you were somewhere totally different.

Country escape
This is a beautiful, well-maintained property. The house is comfortable and very clean. The outdoor space is the star, with numerous places to relax and unwind without ever leaving. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, coffee on the lawn, long walks in the "back 40," campfires by the drive and even a visit by some sandhill cranes. Nice to be able to bring our dog as well. It's close enough to the Twin Cities to be convenient--but far enough to feel like a true escape.

Our family of four (plus our dog Indy) spent a wonderful weekend here. I am already planning a trip back with friends. The house was spotless (and I am very picky when I travel about cleanliness) and had everything we needed. David was great to work with. A modern farmhouse feel and decorated perfectly!
