Beautiful spa hotel in a stunning location with a view of the Luberon Valley. Surrounded by stunning countryside, and 10 minutes from Gordes. The staff are fantastic - top service and incredible food!

It is a beautiful old resort. Stunning scenery and breathtaking surroundings. The rooms are quaint and well appointed. Front desk staff are welcoming and very helpful. We felt as non French speaking we were perhaps not as well catered too as other guests. Ignored at the bar.

The property is in need of renovation, towels were very old and disintegrating, breakfast was good, but very slow service ,need more staff, I was surprised of the property condition considering it is five star. Will not recommend it. The location is great to explore Provence.

Fabulous Relais & Chateaux hotel located in the middle of the upper part of Provence (Haut Provence), excellent service, beautiful property. We were upgraded to the Villa des Anges with a large living room and full kitchen, semi-private natural and organic pool. We enjoyed a superb dinner chez "La Table de Xavier Mathieu", a one-star Michelin restaurant, the "Pistou" soup was extraordinary, the sommelier and servers were great. Xavier Mathieu is the chef and owner of the property, which has been with his family since the 1980s. The vista is beautiful and you can see the cliffs of Roussillon from the salon.

Exquisite hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed , spacious , with all the required amenities and a large patio. The grounds are stunning with a divine pool and a gorgeous view of the provencal countryside. The breakfasts were incredible and sumptuous. The service was friendly. For an extra amount they set up a picnic for an electric bike tour of neighbouring villages and it was a highlight. The in house restaurants are incredible. The only slight complaint I have is about the broken equipment in the gym which I hope they can fix. Otherwise I hope to visit here many more times.

A very nice find close to Gordes and Roussillon. We enjoyed a room with a balcony and beautiful view of the Luberon Valley. We appreciated the elegance of the hotel and staff. Highly recommend.

This beautiful property is located on a hillside overlooking the local Provence countryside. It is a bit secluded, but that is why you booked here, right? The rooms are large and well appointed (we booked a deluxe room) and live up to the 5-star rating. The restaurant for dinner is highly recommended for an upscale culinary treat while staying at the hotel. We had an amazing prix-fixe meal that was the highlight of our stay. The breakfast buffet is sufficient for a hotel of this caliber, but they could do more to elevate the experience. While the pool is nice and in a great setting, the poolside catering is almost nonexistent. They should have serving staff do the rounds to take orders for guests lounging at the pool. The only disappointment of our stay was the gym facilities. You really cannot call this a gym or fitness room, as the room itself is glass-encased, making it too hot during the day to workout in. The big miss is that there are no dumbbells or any respectable fitness equipment to speak of. This is a huge oversight for guests who are planning for a multiday stay.

A truly wonderful hotel that also has a restaurant that serves tasty and beautifully presented local food with a quality wine list The Spa is clean and provides a outdoor Jacuzzi and barrel hot tub. It is a great hotel. For US travelers it leaves something to be desired for it being a 5 star. Issues with Wifi, acceptable bathrooms, great terrace, great Michelin star restaurant. Le Phoebus makes up for their deficiencies in good service. In remote location, it delivers comfort but have no basis of comparison

Bien mais ne vaut pas 5 étoiles

Bon accueil, personnel très bien. Bon petit déjeuner et bon spa. Mais quelques imperfections surprenantes pour un 5 étoiles : Le robot piscine et les les câbles présents pendant la baignade du matin jusqu'à 11:30. La porte de la chambre laissée ouverte après le menage sans remettre thé et capsules et en oubliant de changer 2 serviettes. Il faut un peu courir après le service bar de la piscine. Le restaurant du soir correct mais sans plus et ne vaut pas 200 euros à 2.

Wonderful stay, we will come again

The first thing that comes to mind is the wonderful staff. Always attentive, present yet discrete, with a smile and trying their best to fulfil every wish. The food and attention to details comes next as a very strong positive. The location is great in a beautiful village, with many others located nearby. The grounds are convenient, well maintained (helipad, bocce court, nice view from the pool, sport area, tennis etc). Only negative is that the rooms which are designed to feel like an authentic Provence house are not up to current standards. They would be greatly improved with a lot more drawers and cupboards (could not unpack our suitcases), USB plugs near the beds, etc. And wifi repeaters should be installed throughout the property not only in the housing and pool areas
