“My two daughters and I had a great time at Sasquatch Ranch! Between the goats, paddle boat, corn hole, gas grill and outdoor fireplaces, fresh eggs in our fridge upon our arrival (YUM!) and the super cute and clean place we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and low stress overnight stay. Dean was an amazing and kind host, making sure we had everything we needed and even gave us treats for the goats! They were so sweet and funny and each had such a different personality… The property was……

“When we arrived, the keypad wouldn’t work but fortunately the front door was unlocked. The host returned our phone call eventually, but cell service is very poor in that area. Overall, the stay was excellent. You do have to haul off your own trash, which is a little frustrating considering we also paid a cleaning fee, but the dump is close by. The house is super spacious and the windows in the living room are BEAUTIFUL! Great view and amazing sunsets! We loved the house!”

“Great location- amazing boathouse and had everything we needed. Deep water off end of dock and in cove. Caught a 30lb catfish off the dock!. Amazing screened porch for watching the rain annd storms roll through. All the positives outweigh any negatives- which we only had 2. We have bad knees and toilets were a little low- so that is just a personal issue :), and the raccoons are too smart- got into the cans even with the bungees still on them. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely……

“Great place for a quiet weekend!”

“The inside of the house was great, we enjoyed the layout of each floor and the rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the living spaces felt like home. The bedrooms had ample storage & closet space and the bathrooms were nice. The outside of the house was disappointing. It desperately needed cleaning, there were cobwebs and bugs' nests everywhere. Perhaps we were the first patrons of the summer and the property just hadn't been cleaned up yet. The boathouse and dock were covered in……

“We loved our stay at this lake house retreat. The property was very well maintained with a spacious boathouse. The home was fully equipped with modern amenities and tastefully decorated. The split floor plan was perfect for travelling with teens or multi family. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the water and the location is excellent. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful place. Great for a family gathering. Just as described. Perfect communication with the hosts. You will love it”

“Hidden gem - perfect getaway for myself and my three boys. Very close to Medoc Mountain State Park and plenty to do on the property to keep three high-energy boys occupied. Quiet and secluded! We did a day trip to Sylvin Heights Bird Park as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend!”

“We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The house is lovely; clean, functional, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From reading in the hammock on the deck, floating on the giant pad in the lake, fishing, swimming, playing ping pong, and enjoying s'mores, our family had an absolute blast at the lake house. If your family includes kids and dogs, this is the perfect vacation spot for you! ”
