「The house was well suited for our trip - a place to sleep, relax, review our day of birding and have a few nightcaps in the evening after a long day of birding in and around the local parks.The owner was quick to respond to any questions that we had before and during our visit. I would recommend the home to anyone staying in the area.Jim」

「Such a fun place to host a multi-generational gathering! Host was awesome and very responsive. So much to do and spots to have fun. Would DEFINITELY come back again. And try Tammy, the recommended chef — her food is AMAZING and super accommodating. 」

「My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy.」

「My husband and I booked the Maner Cabin for a much needed getaway for just the two of us and it did not disappoint! It was exactly what we needed to escape and unplug. The cabin was quaint and cozy. We loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs, watching the wildlife as a breeze blew through. If you're looking for a spot to unplug from the world and reconnect with nature and/or your partner, this is absolutely the place to do it!」

「We absolutely loved the property! It was perfect for baseball families traveling for a tournament and wanting to stay together. The only issue we had was getting ahold of the property manager. We reached out through VRBO and the direct number provided in the house and never heard back. 」

「Julee was the best host! She was welcoming and friendly and provided the perfect mix of Texas hospitality and respect for my need to simply unwind and relax. She graciously provided the most amazingly delicious, homemade cinnamon rolls, strawberry bread, and sausage balls. The home was spotless and well apppointed with everything I needed and more. I will definately keep her place as a top 10 places to stay! Don't hesitate to book your stay! 」
