“Amazing resort. Welcoming staff. Lots of activities. Clean rooms and property. Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen. Huge bathrooms with lots of counter space. The balcony was our favorite space - dining table and four chairs, two comfortable chairs with table and a lounge couch….but the view was the winner…ocean, island of Lanai, whale watching, mountains, plus gorgeous views of the pools and grounds. We loved the poolside bar and grill and had many meals poolside.”

“I rented a two-bedroom unit. The bedrooms and living room were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness. The view was great, and the unit itself was spacious and comfortable.”

“This is our third time staying in Sheraton in Kaanapali. Unfortunately, despite the premium location, the resort is getting older and older and in desperate need of renovation. Seems that lobby was recently renovated, but rooms need help. Our ocean view room had crack in the sink, no vent in the bathroom and multiple layers of pain that was chipping. It probably would not matter that much if weather would be better during our stay, because due to the tropical storm we were forced to spend a lot……

“Original Kanaapali resort, with old Hawaiian feel. While this resort is not equipped with the same amenities of the much more modern resorts that are in the area, it exceeds expectations by providing peace and that old Hawaiian feel that we enjoy. Rooms were very nice, being a smaller property, there aren’t the crowds to navigate. On-site restaurant is nice, however definitely on the more expensive end. We would enjoyed live music at Branches, the outdoor stage, on property. Being an older……

“ The room didn’t really have a balcony, just a very narrow space about 12” wide that you could stand on, no chairs would fit. Also, the ocean view was very very small. These two things were very disappointing since the room was advertised as having a balcony. Our room smelled heavily like marijuana when we first arrived, and the toilet had not been cleaned. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told they were at 98% capacity, and there were no comparable rooms. So the value for what we paid……

“Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation.”

“Excellent beautiful place/location. Front desk needs help. Over hour to check in, no apologies and no one in front of us. Just sat behind their computers??? What was happening? No communication was. Got mail I was expecting, no call, email or msg to room. I pressed on check out and they found it. Front desk help needed”

“Room was absolutely clean and gorgeous. Bigger than we expected. It was clean and accessible to pool. Concierge was very responsive and helpful. Only callout is they provided only 2 sets of mini toiletries and our family stayed for almost a week. ”
