We also recommend you take the breakfast, it was great and generous. Great location to hike during the day on the Velika Planina, and do try all the restaurant you cross ! No real need to bring food, and they got you covered with different items you may wish in the cabin (chips, wine, chocolate, pasta, cheese..) at fair price."

The Breakfast included with the room was better than most, the bed was very comfortable and we had a spacious bathroom, unusual for Slovenia. Only criticism was that the room safe was not attached to anything. I (or anybody who got into the room) could have walk away with it. The location is excellent for getting into the tourist area and while it's in a pedestrian zone, our drivers were allowed to pull up to the front door. Would stay again."

"Had a lovely stay at the Occidental in Ljubljana. The hotel was perfectly located and the Old Town was a few minutes walk away. The bed was as good as I have had in a hotel. The shower and wifi were also good. Breakfast had a wide selection and set you up for the day. The staff were great. Thanks to the lady who greeted me warmly every morning and brought me scrambled eggs freshly cooked (sorry forgot name). Big thanks to Fatima who looked after our room and was very attentive. If we return we will definitely stay at the Occidental."
