Not as advertised and less than optimal

We have rented a fair number of VRBO properties in various states and have to agree with the previous reviews that this one had a misleading listing that did not match the third-party listing by Vacasa or the property itself, and that contributed to a less-than-optimal vacation experience. While the property was well located, very clean and rooms were spacious, due to things not working in the house, we did not have an very positive experience.

Not Quite As Advertised

My family just enjoyed a weeklong stay, and although this is a wonderful rental, the listing is very misleading. 1. Air-conditioning is listed as an amenity, which this house does NOT have. And not all of the windows have screens. After we booked thru VRBO, we got a confirmation directly from Vacasa which warned that there was only a small window unit, but that wasn't installed prior to our stay either. The valley gets cool at night so we were still pretty comfortable, but the bedrooms (all 4 are on the 2nd floor) get very warm. And daytime temps were only in the 80's during our stay so I'm sure it will be worse later in the summer. We ended up buying portable fans which helped. 2. The internet is very slow and intermittent. CenturyLink is notorious for poor service quality in the area, and the line to this property has a lot of interference and "noise". The equipment in the house is fine - the problem lies with the ISP. Great if you are looking for an "unplugged" vacation, but if you hope to be able to do any remote work during your stay, be prepared to do it at a local coffee shop. I wish the slow speed and poor quality of the internet had been mentioned ahead of time. The house and surrounding property is large, peaceful, clean, and well-maintained and the location was very convenient for us. But overall it fell a little short of our expectations based on the description.
