Very enjoyable property, Good all around could use some Reno’s as a few things are a bit tried. Food is wonderful, could have a bit more choice. We will stay again next time we are in Kamloops.

This is an older establishment so doesn’t have the ‘modern’ feel to it, but it’s so lovely. There are things to do for all ages. The breakfast was excellent! The staff is lovely! They have real keys for the rooms. Also, as a long time hockey mom they have a room dedicated to mini sticks!!!!!

Neighboring rooms using the jetted tubs at 4:30 was definitely unfortunate. The restaurant was pretty good but Katja was awesome, absolutely the highlight of our visit. Would stay again.

The front desk staff was very helpful and brought in a small fridge after we asked for one. We found the Keurig coffee making was not working and the staff offered to bring in drip coffee machine as I asked for it. As this was the last evening of my stay, he helfped me to get a coffee from the bar. However, the waitress was not very co-operative and just kept me waiting for more than 15 mins. The front desk staff apologized for the wait and finally made one for me from the coffee machine behind the bar counter.

Had a king room facing the river . It had a shared balcony with two chairs and a table. Very large room with a spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Situated next to the golf course. Great place for a play and stay .

The room was clean. The staff, a bit inexperienced, but sincere and welcoming. The pool wasn’t working. We were told before booking. I did check it but realized it wasn’t the type of a pool I’d use anyway. Outdoor pool, small, old, needing repair. The library had a digital piano. That was nice. Downstairs had rooms with gym equipment, ping pong table, etc, but heavily neglected. This hotel needs a good deal of renovating. Actually, even someone cleaning up and organizing these rooms would be nice.

Very friendly staff. Place felt a bit run down (carpet stains, the balcony flooring was sanded plywood almost). No fridge or microwave in the unit we had. Pool was closed which was disappointing for the kids. Beautiful grounds area and nice views. Probably nicer for adults driving through the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at South Thompson, we stayed on the way to Vancouver and the way back! We loved the balcony rooms and had a view from both sides (the second stay was a river view which we preferred). The rooms are nicely sized, our second room had a large bathroom area as well, I can't quite remember what we upgraded to but it was really nice. The hotel itself isn't modern looking and that adds to its style. The rooms were nice and wow the beds were incredibly comfortable! The hotel itself is just outside of Kamloops and we really liked how quaint and cozy it was. We had a bite to eat at the bar (chicken tenders which were very filling!) Overall we aren't sure when we'll be in the area again but our road trip was made better by checking out the South Thompson Inn!
