The hotel was relatively new with some teething problems such as inconsistent hot water delivery and pool and spa were not yet operational. There were bikes you could ride from your room to the very large pool area, We took kayaks down the small river behind the resort and it was like a jungle river trip with huge trees and lush forest all around.
