This cabin is truly stunning. It has every amenity you could need. It’s in a great central location to site see. The owners are super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. Everything was super clean and welcoming. We would absolutely stay again if we ever return to the area.

Perfect Location and Amenities
We stayed here for a week in December. The house has every amenity you could think of and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. The location is great for many local attractions but also for relaxing and enjoying the stars at night. Definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Ryan made us feel welcome before we even got there - checking in with us as we traveled to Kanab to make sure we had all the information we needed. Beautiful home, incredible views of sunrise every morning, everything you could possibly le need during your stay was provided. Top notch furnishings, linens, beds, dishes, utensils-you name it they provided it! We are already planning a return visit to Kanab and will definitely stay at Blackhawk Cabin!

Friends Trip
Three couples were on a week long trip and used this great cabin as a mid-point between Vegas and Sedona Arizona. This cabin is even better in person. The owners, Ryan and Wendy, have thought of everything that is needed during your stay. They have excellent communication. The cabin is decorated and outfitted perfectly from the bedrooms to the fully stocked kitchen to the outdoor deck and activities. It is super close to town and the views are amazing. If you are looking for a place to stay near Zion, Antelope Canyon, Page, etc, this is the spot!

Five Star Kanab Retreat
The architecture and design is stunning! The creative decorative touches really give it a western southern utah vibe that we loved. All the amenities and beautiful spacious kitchen made it a joy to cook. The spacious dining area and huge living room make it inviting and so comfortavle to relax after a long day of Jeeping, hiking, and exploring the many wonders around Kanab. The deck with a brand new Weber grill, Bullfrog hot tub, and gas fire pit was incredible. Watching the sunset on the red rock mesas was spectacular. The pickleball court was also pristine and so much fun to use. The master bedroom suite is also superb. The entire house and property is spotless. The property owners love this place and it shows. They welcomed us when we arrived and then we saw no sign of them the entire stay. Privacy, luxury, and theu have thought of everything. We love this place!

Fantastic Cabin
We stayed for 3 nights this week with two teens, and loved the experience. Each space in the home is warm and lovely. The hot tub and trampoline got good use. We also found the location to be perfect, as Kanab itself has a lot to offer; Zion is manageable drive. We'd stay again if Utah were closer!

Impressive
Our family of 6 stayed here in the middle of our two week road trip to see national parks. Our kids ages are 18, 16, 13, and 10. We were all impressed with this house. After all our traveling, it was so nice to have a beautiful clean place to rest, watch a movie, sit out on the deck, enjoy the hot tub, make dinner, and play monopoly. After our two weeks of vacation, we all reminisced about our favorite events, and this house kept coming up in everyone's list of favorites.

Beautiful and comfortable
This rental was amazing, way better than described and pictures don’t do it justice. It even had a crib for our baby so we really didn’t need to take our pack n play. The location is scenic, it has all kitchen amenities we didn’t even have to eat out once and were able to make some gourmet meals. It was truly a fun place to just hang out with the family and enough seating for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. Definitely somewhere I would highly suggest renting if you have kids as there was a loft with tons of games and movies. The only thing that was strange to me is all the LDS pictures, decorations and quotes, it just made me slightly uncomfortable but was a good laugh later on for us and did not hinder our time staying here.

Perfect central location for hiking
The house was a great central location for all the hiking we did - Zion, buckskin gultch, and Bryce. The sand caves which are local are amazing too! The town itself is really cute and not too busy. The house was beautiful and was more than enough space for us. We loved the huge kitchen, surround sound in the living room and giant master bathroom with a double shower! We also got to play pickle ball on the backyard court.

Feels like a high-end resort with the comforts of home!
Such a beautiful custom home in Kanab, with all of the comforts of home, made for a wonderful stay for the two of us and has plenty of space for a larger family/group. The home is conveniently located within minutes of restaurants and stores, as well as close to travel routes to the many beautiful places in the area, while in a peaceful neighborhood with both a front and back porch/patio to take in the views. The house is even nicer in person than the pictures describe. Every detail has been thought of - truly beautiful workmanship, comfortable and beautifully decorated, all amenities and details have been thought of. Would definitely stay here again. The hosts are so very nice and hospitable.

The Sunrise View is Amazing
Beautiful log home with awesome views from everywhere in the house. Kitchen is very well stocked and with the night breeze a back porch dinner capped a perfect day at the north rim. Master bed was very comfortable and the master bath was better than the pictures. Was too hot for the hot tub however, it looked clean and ready for use. Would stay again.

The Blackhawk Cabin is the place to stay in Kanab.
Everything about this rental were 5 star. The photos reflect the lodging and location. It is quite and private with a great view. Inside is well furnished and includes an incredible kitchen complete with every gadget and a full spice cabinet. The owners were very welcoming and quick to respond to our questions. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and hope to visit again sometime soon.

Spring break in Kanab
let me start by saying this home is everything they promise. Chefs kitchen, every appliance imagined is provided for you. Coolers there to use. Beautiful hiking trail in neighborhood with dinosaur tracks. Central location to Zion and Bryce. Best friends is right up the road, reason we came to area last year and returned this year. Hot tub awesome. Nice gas grill and a gas firepit on deck. All the furnishings, decor and supplies are all top notch. We would definitely recommend.

Wow. This elegant log home features a spacious and welcoming living room/dining area with easy access to a large porch overlooking the beautiful cliffs that ring the town. From this vantage point, we sat and watched a spectacular lightning storm and later were treated to a magnificent rainbow . Indoors there was ample room for the six of us. In the kitchen, every conceivable cooking amenity is here, and the spice cabinet alone should be featured on Chopped! The very walkable neighborhood is quiet and just a minute by car to the local market. Add a trampoline, hot tub, and a massage chair, and the Blackhawk feels like a truly exceptional mini-resort. And, of course, the house is within a day trip to Bryce, Zion, Glen Canyon, and Grand Canyon parks. Our host, Ryan, could not have been more friendly and helpful. If we could give 6 stars, we would!

Comfortable family retreat in Kanab
Super clean, well appointed retreat close by to three National parks (Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon North Rim within 1.5 hrs each of house). We loved the hot tub and the outdoor fireplace on the patio after our daily excursions. Owners were so great and friendly. Small town of Kanab had everything we needed within blocks - grocery, great restaurants, pharmacy. Would definitely return in the future and will recommend to our friends!

The house was beautiful and the owners went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! Including dropping off a bag of cookies!! The house was spacious with plenty of places for people to sit or get away. The view was beautiful, including a sun rise view from the living room and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. It was centrally located and we drove easily to Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend this location!

Kenab is a great town with some real stores & restaurants 3 minutes away, and located within an hour of Zion, and 90 minutes to Wire Pass & Bryce. This rental was absolutely perfect. Weber grill, hot tub, outdoor gas fireplace. Kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything. Very very impressed with how clean this place is, I am guessing the owner cleans, as it would be rare that an outside service would clean to perfection like this house was. Highly recommend - A++

I rarely write reviews unless it is exceptional or terrible. This is an exceptional review. The house is in the middle of everything there is to do. 1 hour from Mt Zion, 1.5 hours from Bryce Canyon, 1 hour from Buckskin Gulch and about 1.5 hours to the North Rim Canyon etc.... This house has a gourmet kitchen which we utilized cooking some fantastic meals. Outside there is a Weber Gril, nice table to sit at, nice gas fireplace with 4 chairs and a really nice hot tub that heats exceptionally quick. We were courteous and turned the heat down to original setting each night. Huge TV inside with surround sound. I can't say enough. Really really nice. Supposedly the owners live downstairs but you wouldn't know it unless this listing told you. Thank you. Thank you.

Really enjoyed the house. Very clean and spacious. Great owners. Would have preferred a double or queen bed instead of a bunk bed in the guest bedroom since we were a party of all adults. I always look for rentals with a recliner since that is where my husband usually ends up and there were plenty of those here. Enjoyed having the hot tub to relax in after our day trips to the north rim of Grand Canyon, a day on Lake Powell and Bryce Canyon, all about 11/2 hours away. Stayed close one day and went to Moqui Cave Museum and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Great trip!! Would certainly stay here again to see the other parks nearby.

10 Stars !!!! An absolute must !!! Would do it again in a heartbeat!!
Besides the fact that this home is gorgeous, we didn't want for anything!! This couple made sure that you will have an awesome experience!! They have everything and anything you could possibly want or need!! There's even a binder on the counter full of information that came in very handy for us!! The location is perfect if you plan on exploring different places!! We went to Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Glen Canyon, Belly of the Dragon, Grand Staircase, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell and even found things to do right in Kanab!! We took a UTV tour thru Peek A Boo Slot Canyon and Coral Pink Sand Dunes!! The Trip to the North Rim Grand Canyon is about an hour and half. Unfortunately, there was a wildfire and we weren't allowed to enter from the North Rim (South Rim would've been a 5 hour drive) Even before we were set out on our travel, the homeowners got in touch with us to let us know. I thought that was very nice of them in case we were to change our plans. We got as close as we could in Marble Canyon, but it did not hinder our trip at all !! We even decided to take it easy on the last day we were there so that we could enjoy the house a little more because we had been on the go everyday!! There's a hot tub to climb in after a day of hiking & climbing, which was heaven. We ate outside everyday on the deck!! There's even a propane fire pit that we just sat and talked around. (We forgot to buy the s'mores) The homeowners live downstairs, but you would never know it unless you needed something or asked for something. They answered my texts right away. We got a glimpse of them one night when we were out on the deck, but we never exchanged words, which I wish we had!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

My wife and some family stayed here for a couple days while visiting Kanab. This house is amazing; very spacious, everything you could ask for, and located in an extremely quiet neighborhood. The owners stocked the house with every appliance, dish, and silverware you could think of. The grill isn't too shabby either. The listing states the owners live on site, but you wouldn't even know. We didn't hear a word from them the entire time we were there. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect Home Base for Nat’l Parks
This place looks exactly like (or better) than the pics. My wife and I stayed here with our two grade school boys for a week in early August. We took day trips to Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, etc., and also roamed around Kanab and the surrounding areas. It was SO CONVENIENT to not have to move around from hotel to hotel, and especially nice to come “home” in the evenings and cook (if we didn’t eat at one of the many great restaurants within 5 minutes of the house that we tried), and get a good shower after dusty hikes. Our boys actually asked to go home just to hang out, and we even spent a day or two taking a break from the hikes and just hanging around the house and the Kanab area. The attention to detail in the construction of the home and the appointments inside of it (appliances, fixtures, furnishings, beds, etc.) was impeccable. The owners have been working on it for just a few years, so it’s basically brand new, and it shows. It was spotless, literally, and anything you might need in terms of towels and even soap, TP, Kleenex, coffee was provided. Our hosts were extremely gracious and easy to communicate with. We did have some reluctance thinking it might be sorta weird that they are often on property (meaning they live in the basement when they have guests), but regrettably we never actually saw them or even heard them until we met Wendy on our way out. Their living quarters are entirely separate and closed off and they were quite respectful, so that turned out great. This is a wonderful place for a family, even just one family, due to its central location and the fact it was as cheap as a single decent hotel room, and certainly far less expensive than two hotel rooms. There’s only one master and one bunk room, plus a loft, so keep that in mind, but if people don’t mind using a couch or an air mattress it would easily accommodate more than one family. That being said, this is NOT a party house or a bunk house for a bunch of college folks or party people, and frankly when you step inside this place you’d feel bad for disrespecting it. An absolute gem of a place with wonderful owners, just can’t say enough about it. We want to go back to the same parks again just to stay in this place! Don’t hesitate to book this one if you can get it, absolutely amazing!!!

Hidden Paradise in the Perfect Location
We stayed here for three nights as part of our "Out West" vacation and loved every minute of it! The house was adorable and impeccably clean. We had plenty of room to move and play outside and it is in the perfect location to base oneself to explore Zion, Bryce, Antelope, etc. The owners were very accessible and helpful. Even though they lived in the basement, we never saw them or heard them, yet they were very speedy to answer any question that we had. They even contacted us when they found our daughter's missing cross necklace and mailed it back to us! We will definitely stay here if we return to this region and highly recommend it to travelers! Perfect Home Base For National Park Trip
This home is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. It was a perfect place to stay as a family. The house itself offers magnificent views of the Utah rocks and a perfect way to spend evenings after a day out site seeing in the national parks. We loved grilling on the deck and watching the sun set while roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. The beds were all very comfortable. You can see the care that the owners put in to make the house well stocked for visiting guests, with thoughtful touches big and small. We would definitely recommend this house.

Amazing location close to everything
We've stayed at lots of VRBO's over the years but this by far was the cleanest, comfiest, and well equipped one we've ever stayed at. The cabin had everything we needed and it was so clean. We made most of our meals there and we enjoyed relaxing each evening after a full day of hiking, atving, and exploring. The beds were super comfortable. The owners were great to work with. They were super helpful in answering questions about Kanab with places to go. We're already starting to plan a trip back next year.
