「Everything was perfect, from the quaintness of the cabin to the communication with the host! It was exactly as described, and we came prepared! The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! Our puppies loved paddling around in the water, and the scenery was to die for!」

「There is a delapatated, abandoned house on this property that is intentionally left out of photos. There is a narrow, unlevel path from the driveway down to the lakefront site that makes you cross over an ustable "bridge" made of house siding, and some uneven cinderblocks as "steps". You must traverse this to unolad gear and any time you access the honey bucket. The honey bucket is not cleaned before you arrive, but theres a cleaning fee for each day you stay. There are horsetail weeds...

「Stayed in mid-September for Tunnel Race Marathon which was coinvent for the finish area. Even though rooms are on lower (basement) level, it was warm and fan was not enough with European type bedding. Previous reviews had mentioned no air-conditioning. We were able to get an extra sheet instead of the duvet on the second night. Communication was good once established.」

「Two cabins on property. The photos they advertise are of the main cabin. Basically zero communication had to figure which one was my cabin on my own. Still a cute place to stay, just needs clear communication and show the second cabin or give option to choose which one.」

「I would equate this property to like a cute pair of shoes that you simply must have but wearing them for any length of time is not all that comfortable. The house is clean, updated, and provides most necessary things for your stay. It is on the small side so I can't imagine more than two people staying there. 「Suspended above a rushing river on a quiet private road, we thoroughly enjoyed having our own private paradise. The house is beautiful, roomy and so well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed cozying up to the outdoor fireplace every night after days spent hiking and exploring in this beautiful area. 「Terrific accommodations for the price. Great amenities. 4of 5 as: I wish there was blackout drapes in bedrooms. Too bright too early. Fortunately a/c in 3 rooms however bedroom still too warm for me though turned all as low as possible. Lots of pillows unfortunately no combo was comfortable for me. Despite these small issues, I would definitely stay again.」
