Air conditioners worked in both living and bedroom areas. Room was very clean except for some funk in the ceiling over the shower. View right on the beach is amazing. Staff was born again and she will yell you all about it.

Room was overlooking the beach with a fantastic view of the ocean. Hotel is within walking distance or biking distance of hotel.they offer free bikes.Staff is Texas friendly and have great banana bread in the lobby.

Overall very pleasant stay. If you are looking for a beautiful location and view this is the place! Waking up to the view every morning was stunning. Location was great and walkable. Close proximity to drive and explore many sites…..keep in mind this hotel is dated. Old tv, ok beds, no frills. Our room was “cleaned” and ready upon arrival but there was hair on our sheets and pillows, toothpaste and hair in sink, mirrors spotted and smeared, not vacuumed and sticky residue on remotes and tv boxes. Someone came a changed our sheets, but I bought Clorox wipes and wiped everything down myself. The front desk people are so pleasant and helpful, so I would just suggest checking your room condition upon arrival, could have been a one time experience as we read other reviews.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had!!! I checked into a dirty room. Talked to front desk staff, when I told her the room was dirty, she looked at me and said “ what do you want me to do about it?” she rudely sent a cleaner with me to my room, I showed her, Then she told me I was too picky & would bring me cleaning supplies that I could clean it myself. This is after I showed her a big black footprint in the bathtub, loogies & toothpaste in the bathroom sink, soda, & coffee spills on the counter, lip & fingerprints on wine glasses, dirty mirrors & light switch & door knob had old crusty food, sticky & grime on it. I cleaned the room myself only to find out later that night going too bed there was hair, food & stains all through the bedding. I called the emergency line, I was told that there was nothing they could do because no one was there. I purchased my own bedding at Walmart. The next morning, I spoke to a manager who looked at my pictures & agreed that it was disgusting & unacceptable behavior from her staff. She agreed to reimburse me for supplies & comp 1 night stay. Expedia talked to the manager & agreed to the 1 night refund, I went down to the Manager to let her know it was done. She looked at me & said I’ve refunded your stay. I was shocked & grateful until She said to me “you need to check out at 11 today”. I was shocked, after I bought my own bedding, cleaned my own room I got kicked out all because I complained about a filthy room & and filthy bedding.
These are the cleaning products that the lady brought me and the rags that she brought me to clean with.

We had a fairly nice room, suite type with. Humongous soaking tub, but the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. Had a great view of the ocean. Hotel lobby looked like a thrift store, very cluttered and dirty.

The view from our room was amazing!! And the hotel location is in walking distance to so much. Staff was so nice, helpful, and very accommodating. Beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable.

Nice hotel in Kapa'a. Staff was very helpful. The room a great size with oceanfront view. Pool very nice. The staff lent out bikes, beach chairs dvds and beach towels. Home made treats to greet you. We had a lot of trouble with the wifi not working. The front desk said they were changing carriers. Basically didn't work half the time.

Staff was awesome. Home made banana bread, a gift of a calendar & box of Hawaiian chocolate. Georgeous view (lake view rm), comfortable room. A little dated, but clean & everything worked.

It was a great location and a pleasant stay. Rooms could be a little cleaner but staff was very accommodating when our a/c quit. And they were very easy to talk to and meet all of our everyday needs.

There were a lot of stairs and no elevator in our building. Access to everything, including the restroom near the front desk, required code access. Drawer space was sparse, and the huge closet came with only 4 hangars. The shower chair was too large to fit in our shower.

Beautiful view right next to the water. We even saw dolpins in the distance. Loved being in Kapa'a and close to walking to other places to grab food from. Being able to borrow bikes to ride on the bike path was awesome as well. The hotel had a great homey vibe to it that I loved. Everyone working there was super nice and down to earth too. I really enjoyed my time here. As long as you're not looking for a super fancy place to stay, I think this is an awesome place to stay for a good trip in Kauai. The pool is awesome as well. I truly enjoyed my time here and would stay here again in the future. Even better in person in my opinion.
