Helt OK hotell om det inte varit för renoveringar.

Helt OK hotell. Kanske lite låg "value for money". Det sker renoveringar på hotellet, så lite stökigt i korridorer och trapphus. Det kommer att bli bra när de är färdiga.

Jag har legat på många olika hotell men detta var det finaste och trevligaste hotell vi har legat på. Längtar redan efter att ha ett ärende till Karlsborg. Trevlig personal. God mat och fantastisk trevligt boende.

Vi var 2par och tyckte vi borde ha fått likvärdiga rum. Fin frukost. Ett plus för små Croissanter och ett minus för bara grovt bröd (frallor) den ena morgonen. Ett missöde uppstod vid middagen dag2, men det löstes hur fint och smidigt som helst! Hotellet ligger bra till - lagom promenadavstånd till det fina hamnområdet. Vi är nöjda med vistelsen och det är inte omöjligt, att vi återvänder för finns mycket kvar att utforska :)

Högljutt utanför

Se till att inte få ett rum ut mot gatan eftersom EPA traktorer kör där hela natten och spelar hög musik. Väldigt störande.

Överprisat kallt hotell med låg standard

Hade bokat ett standard dubbelrum. Fick ett hörnrum som till en början verkade lovande, men snabbt insåg jag att temperaturen i rummet var extremt låg, troligen under 20°C. De enda värmekällorna i mitt rum var handdukstorken i badrummet och värmeläckage från rummet brevid, något element fanns inte i sikte. Badrummet var färscht men annars under all kritik, den som designat badrummet måste vara 75% mindre än en normalbyggd vuxen människa. När man satt på toaletten så hade man knäna mot väggen och handdukstorken i ansiktet, att dörren till duschen överhuvudtaget gick att öppna var ett smärre mirakel. Utöver detta så var hotellet extremt lyhört och lösningen för detta verkade vara öronproppar som fanns i nattduksbordet. Ena fönstret hade en gammal persienn som inte gick att stänga ordentligt, vilket kraftigt ökade ljusinsläppet. Till skillnad från alla andra hotell som byggts/renoverats efter 1980 så hade detta hotell konventonella dörrlås med nyckel istället för kort/tag. Vissa dörrar verkade vara nybytta men den till mitt rum var gammal och endast ommålad, vilket tyvärr inte lyckats lösa problemet med att dagsljus trängde in mellan dörr och karm. Frukosten var okej men något liten.
