“My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. Quoting my dad “The birthday arrangement was beautiful, the cake was lovely, and the   famous DoubleTree cookie was the best. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both excellent, and the amenities were exceptional.” What really stood out to them was the warmth and attention to detail throughout their stay. “Beautiful property, the rooms were spacious and uniquely decorated and fit the jungle aesthetic. Due to its proximity to Yala National Park, we saw many wild Peacocks roaming around in the backyard. This also meant that the Safari jeep was able to pick us up on the main road easily on the way to the park. On the downside, the property was located at the end of a dirt path off the main road and was not properly marked on the map. This made it very difficult was taxi drivers to find the hotel.……

“This property was vacant and no one else staying there. I felt unsafe here, there was no warm water. The towels were hard, only one toilet paper. The fridge was faulty. I didn’t want to have breakfast as I was worried about the standard of hygiene. It really smelt like animal faecal matter due to the cows and buffaloes near by. ”
