“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm……

“We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu……

“Great location! Close enough to La Fortuna that it was convenient without being “in town”. The outback adventure company right next door was fantastic. The whole family had a blast. “This house was exactly what our family of 5 needed for our stay in La Fortuna. The views from the property are spectacular. We were greeted with wonderful fresh fruit. While we, unfortunately, only speak English, Franklin was wonderful to communicate with. I used Google Translate, and he was so prompt to respond to any communication I sent.
