I’ve been to some lovely hotels and this is right up there with the best, but what really makes the difference with the Canale is the staff. Petros and his team are magnificent! We have had a wonderful stay at Canale Hotel and Suites. The customer service is outstanding. We took advantage of being collected from the airport and enjoyed a welcome drink on our arrival at the hotel. All of the staff were superb, considerate and looked after us so well. The breakfasts were delicious, and a wide range of Kefalonian dishes were offered. Our room was spacious, extremely well equipped and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a superb view.

Fantastic hotel and the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier or helpful. The extra services were great: complimentary beach beds reserved at costa costa, hotel WhatsApp number to use for the hotel to organise taxi pick up from anywhere on the island, organising day trips, amazing breakfast brought to your room and complimentary local wine on our last night. Would go back again and again. If you’re considering staying here I promise you’ll enjoy every second!

This hotel was beyond 5 stars for us. It was beautiful with a gorgeous view across the street from the water. The shopping and restaurants are so close by, it makes it so convenient. A 5 minute walk to the main square. The staff is always on hand to help at any moment. The breakfast is unbelievable with an assortment of different breads, desserts and cakes. We highly recommend. We will be back.

The staff went out of their way to make our trip effortless, even helping us reserve umbrellas at the beach ahead of time—a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. The breakfast deserves its own spotlight: it was, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had. Each morning featured a beautiful spread, including a variety of freshly baked goods that were absolutely delicious. The level of care and hospitality we experienced at Canale sets a new standard. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Kefalonia.

Excellent personal service, luxury exceptionally well designed hotel in a fabulous location. The team led by Alexandra and Spiros were superb in every way,so professional but personal and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice with everything fresh and beautifully presented. Recommendations for restaurants always proved useful with delicious food every time. The location was perfect, was quiet but only a few minutes from the harbour front, pedestrianised area and square. Reservations at the nearby beach for front row sun loungers was a nice touch. Highly recommended and would stay again. Kefolonia is such a stunning island .

This was a perfect stay. The property is pristine and the staff beyond accomodating. They organised cars, taxi, restaurants and with great humour and a calm that was beguiling. The room and all of the hotel were spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. We could want for no more. The breakfast was fantastic and all home made by a member of staffs mum. Walkable to everywhere in town for drinks and food. We would not stay anywhere else. It is a perfect oasis of calm and good taste. The best feature were the staff and team at the hotel. They were beyond wonderful.
