Located almost an equal distance between the cosmopolitan cities of Inverness to the west and Aberdeen to the East, the surrounding area of Moray and Speyside offers a wide variety of experiences and activities for all ages and abilities.
This is Whisky country. The lush, fertile farmlands lend themselves to the growing of crops, much of the grain for use within the Whisky industry. With over half of Scotland's working Whisky distilleries located within the area alongside numerous craft distilleries and breweries. Many of which can be visited along the Speyside Whisky Trail and experience the unique ‘tipple' each creates. Even the driver can have their own ‘nip' to take away!
From fishing to Dolphin watching; Scottish History and culture to beautifully manicured gardens; Scenic walks be it Hill (of which nearby Meikle Ballcoh can be found on the boundary between Moray & Aberdeenshire), forest or coastal and this being Scotland, golf is never far away.
