「The character of the house shines through and is lovely to spend time in. The little sun room off the kitchen we ended up in often. There is no dishwasher but washing dishes by hand in the vintage sink is enjoyable. Overall an easy process. The stairs could be tricky for some people (old house small stairs). But we had no issues. The agency that runs the home is quick and responsive and proactive. Overall great and pet friendly is a plus.」

「The Gatsby house was perfect for our family gathering. Doug was an exceptional host and always available to answer any questions we had. The view, the house amenities and the charm of house and area of Beaver Dam was so enjoyable. Our fundraising efforts at Wayland Academy were above our expectations and we can’t wait to return next year! Thanks so much for everything! Mellanie」

「The pictures are extremely misleading. The place is very dingy. There’s a bedroom downstairs that’s mostly fine, but the sleeping arrangements for the other eight upstairs are a very tight attic without separate rooms. There’s one bathroom and the water pressure is subpar. The outside of the building is pretty rundown. Everything worked. And communication was good. Great parking behind the unit. The AC worked fine.」

「A few friends and I were in Hartford for a wedding, and there weren’t many options for places to stay, so we were happy to find this VRBO! The house was beautiful, and Michelle was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Even though our stay was short, it was exactly what we needed and made our weekend that much better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again!」
