Hi Everyone, I am very sorry to see this terrible review on our listing we take so much pride in. My husband and I have rented our condo for the second summer and absolutely love sharing our place with people traveling through to enjoy Kelowna which we love so much! I hope you can see from all our other reviews that what Eva has written is not reflective of our standard. It is true that our unit was not ready for her arrival; we had not heard from our cleaner that she would not be coming and we could not get a hold of her at all which is not at all like her! We thought something was seriously wrong and were very concerned for her. A family friend who cleans was able to help us out to have the unit ready slightly late. Eva seemed very understanding as she and her family were going to dinner anyway and would not be checking in at 4 pm. The unit was ready for her (we have multiple sets of bedding, towels etc and although the last guests washing was not complete there was NO requirement for her to do any of it. Our friend/fill in cleaner confirmed that everything else was complete and offered to stay, come back later and/or come back the next day none the less, Eva declined all offers. Since everything seemed in order now we still wanted to provide Eva a complementary bottle of wine for her inconvenience. We do recognize that the last thing you want to do as a guest is worry about your accommodation on your vacation and we were and are still terribly sorry and apologized to no end and rectified the situation with minimal disruption considering this unforeseeable circumstance. We do go above and beyond to accommodate our guests and in Eva's case the impact she describes on her holiday is not accurate. She had a beautiful , clean, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, fully equipped condo for a significantly reduced rate which might I add was $400/night less than a one bedroom hotel room at that time of the year. I hope you can note that our place is of great value, in a great location and accommodates larger groups and that a delay in check in is not at all the norm for us. Hi Rachel, I know it's been some time since your stay but we wanted to let you know we've changed our cleaning staff and their policies are much better! Although there is a cleaning fee the guests no longer need to worry about additional tidying after their stay. This is always nice and greatly appreciated, our guests can focus on what they are meant to do - VACATION :). Hope you and your family are well and hope to see you again soon! Nicole and Ben

This is our first season providing a vacation rental experience to guests and we sincerely thank you for the feedback and take it very seriously. We want you and future guests to know that we will be condensing and making changes to our manual and instructions based on your feedback. Our goal is to make each stay as seemless as possible. We do suggest guests read the manual to make their stay as enjoyable as possible but if they have any questions at all to simply contact us at anytime. Our house manual was thorough and included all things you could want to know during your vacation like directions to the property from various locations, building bylaws, suite etiquette and various recommendations of local “to dos” as well as pictures but we will be changing the format right away to be less comprehensive and seemingly cumbersome.
