「This place was amazing. Roomy 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Spending time in Grand Rapids and Holland Michigan so the location was in between both and so easy to find. The place came with everything we needed. There was a pond and a walking trail, dog park and beautiful grounds. The place was spotless and nice decor. Would stay there again」

「The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall.」

「Very convenient location for a downtown wedding - close enough to walk in. Walking route had many drug users and homeless, though, so we usually drove. Lots of noise from upstairs - non-stop barking dog, could hear every footstep. Bed was the least comfortable bed of any place I've stayed in years; between the two, not a great sleep on any of the 5 nights. Neighbors shouting at one another outside at 2am. 「Me, my mom & sister stayed a long weekend for mothers day. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Check in was easy and communication with the host was top notch. The master bedroom is very nice, and the cabin itself is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed downtown Lowell and a trip to meijer gardens in grand rapids (only a 20 min drive.) We would absolutely stay here again!」

「The pictures do not do it justice! We were just slightly early for the fall color change but the lake, the calmness, and the solitude was everything we were looking for. The house was immaculate, and everything we needed was within reach of wherever we needed it. Highly recommended!」

「The furnished apartment was a perfect spot to land when a need arose to be closer to the Grand Rapids area for six weeks. To be able to have a place to come back to, relax and cook meals was invaluable. Those in the apartment building were so kind and those that managed this VRBO were ever so helpful as we needed to extend our stay. It was also the perfect spot to get many places easily and quickly. Plus, who doesn’t like living in a castle.」

「My family and myself came to the area for a musical in grand rapids and i think we all enjoyed the stay at least as much as the musical itself. This property comfortably slept my party of 14 without issues. My daughters still talk about how they "Got to stay in a castle". Full marks from me. I have already recommended this property to some friends and would recommend it to anyone else thinking about staying.」

「We are from the South part of Michigan and we had a graduate from Baker College. We were able to get to Trinity Health Arena in around 20 minutes. Enjoyed the entire stay. Kids had plenty to do, and the adults really enjoyed the deck area. Would love to return for another stay when we all have more time to enjoy the activities in the area.」

「The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂」

「My husband and I stayed at Suzanne's place over his birthday. We were both so impressed by the decorating, amenities and attention to detail. Outside the approach to the lake was nice and flat with a dock and kayaks. Ample outdoor space to relax on multiple decks or around the fire pit. Amazing place!!I would give it a 10 plus rating!!」
