"Staff is fantastic from the moment you arrive! The pool is a good size, clean. The swim up bar is awesome and not overpriced-the pina colada and orange crush were delicious! NGL, the jacuzzi looked a touch murky AND is in direct sun most of the day then pool closes at dusk so we didn’t use it.
Great ocean view, quick walk to all shops, lots of food, boardwalk entertainment, a coffee /bagel shop and a liquor store. The overflow parking is close, don’t complain!
We had an ocean front with a private balcony that was very good, my only critique is that the bed was too small for 2 people, it didn’t seem like a full size but for a couple nights worth mild discomfort!
We did have to evacuate bc the fire alarm went off but there were no strobes on in the room or hallway and we thought it was a building nearby and were not aware it was the building we were in until we stepped onto the balcony and saw fire trucks pulled up and someone on the sidewalk shouted to us it was the oceanic alarms going off but it was a false alarm. Also no phone in room which I found odd but front desk staff was available when we needed them.
We noticed some rooms had key cards and we had a key so there was a sense the owners are upgrading and improving all the rooms which is great rather than owners who let a place get run down!
