「Cabin was very nice and clean as described. There was plenty of outdoor activities but also clod to places to go out to eat. We had a fun and relaxing getaway. Would highly recommend this place. 」

「We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It’s a bit of a drive from any of the towns, but blissfully quiet and very peaceful. And a lovely drive! Came with my partner, nephew and dogs and we all loved it. The steps up to the house were a little tough for my small dog, and required a little balance with our suitcases, but nothing we couldn’t manage. The cabin is quaint and cozy with all the basics, and our host was so kind and accommodating. I’d absolutely recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway! 」

「Everything was good!」

「We made last minute changes to our July off-road plans. This meant finding a new spot over a holiday weekend that allowed dogs ASAP. BJ quickly responded to my Facebook post about the opening and was very welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Evarts! We loved the location to the trails! Excited to come back for Fall Crawl with our group! 」

「This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The location is good and the owner is great. Kim is very responsive. We had an issue with the temperature in the place and Kim addressed it quickly and attentively; and it was resolved. Even my dog was comfortable staying there. He usually barks when we leave him alone (crated), but he didn't while there. 」

「What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! 」

The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. 「We came in to town for Thanksgiving. We generally stay with family but wanted our own place this time around. The pictures were spot on. It is a large home and has plenty of space to spread out if needed. The beds were cozy. We spent our evenings watching tv in the living room with the fireplace on. Pretty close to everything. Quiet little neighborhood.」

「What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look...

「My partner and I stayed in this cabin for just under 2 weeks and it was nothing short of magical. From a fully outfitted kitchen, to a breath taking view once you step outside, even down to the bathrobes that we were able to use, this cabin is worth every penny and more! I highly recommend this property to anyone who is willing to make the drive out to stay here. We will definitely be coming back! 」

The property is well maintained with everything you need to disconnect for a few days with an amazing view if you're willing to take a small hike up the mountain. We loved exploring the small-town life as there was such a nice sense of community. Would highly reccommend if you are looking for a nice spot to disconnect. 」
