「A blanket in the room might have been nice; we were cold one night. There was no hot water on Sunday AM. There were also a group of people that came in about 1 AM Saturday night laughing, screaming, talking very loud. And, while I didn't blame the hotel, I'm amazed at how rude others can be for those that might have been sleeping at that time. 」

「Staff was friendly and accessible, the grounds were gorgeous and there are lots of activities on-site. The boardwalks connecting all the cabins did make quite a lot of noise whenever people walked by, so that's my only real complaint.」

「Lobby area is clean and in good shape. Appreciate having coffee and hot water available in the evening. Breakfast was good. The room was quiet. Bed was comfortable could use new pillows. Sink and countertop looked new. Bathtub and toilet need replacing-chipped and stained. 」

「We had a wonderful time at the Diamond Willow Hideaway. Our family has vacationed in the Park Rapids/Nevis/Dorset area for many years but this was our first time on Big Sand Lake. The house itself is setup up and decorated so beautifully. The one level living space and no major steps to get to the lake/dock area made it very accessible for both young and old in our party. The lake water was so clear! We enjoyed sunrises, sunsets, kayaking, pontoon rides, and catching some perch and bass...
