「This was the second time that we stayed here. It is very peaceful. We love watching the beautiful sunsets from the back deck. There's nothing like relaxing by the water. We enjoyed riding our bikes along the bike path right outside the front door. Plenty to do up and down the river: museums, shops, restaurants, and outdoor recreation. Most places are within a 30-minute drive or less.」

「We were at a basketball tournament and stayed at this adorable house. The owner was extremely sweet and answered all of our questions. 「This is our 4th time staying here. The house is very clean and very spacious for our family. We just loved seeing the sunset every night and the view of the river is so beautiful. We loved our time here. The house always smells so good. The host is great to work with and always very responsive when needed. It is close to every place we had to go in Davenport. We would definitely recommend staying here.」

「There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!」

「This is such a neat historic home with lots of room for the 8 of us to spread out and also be together around the table playing games. The weather didn't quite cooperate the night we were planning to have a fire, but there is a fire ring with plenty of wood available and lots of outdoor seating. 「This home has a wonderful enclosed front porch overlooking the Mississippi. We watched an eagle catch a fish right in front of us, and enjoyed the barge traffic going by. We also had spectacular sunrises while there. This home has PLENTY of room for a group. The only downside - the freight trains going through feet from the back of the home in the middle of the night blowing their horn. This woke us up at least 3 times a night.」
