Overall my experience was fine, but I will not be returning there. While there are pictures of the ocean, the ocean is walking distance. You cannot see the ocean from the unit. The amenities that we stayed here for were in disrepair. The bikes are left outside by the ocean so they are completely rusted, flat tires, broken components. The paddle board and kayaks were about the condition you would expect from a communal use item. Same with the fishing equipment. Indeed, I think this location is mostly for people who like to fish as that is what folks were doing. However, I only saw the pelicans catch anything. I wouldn't have said anything about the manager hovering, but the cleaning lady pestered me 4 times about leaving and cleaning and that's after running into us in person. I simply ignored her texts. It's not that we wouldn't or didn't leave the place clean, but you know you're the cleaning lady. Let me be on vacation, and you do your job. The unit itself was okay. In addition to not seeing the beach, there is considerable dust buildup on the ceiling. Additionally, we had to go out and buy our own toilet paper and paper towels. And the smoke detector started chirping the day we arrived. We asked the manager for a battery, which did not come. My partner ended up taking the smoke detector off the wall. Eventually, once we ran into the cleaning lady, we asked her for a battery, and she brought it. The experience was fine, but I wouldn't return.
