I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The facilities are outdated, and the room I was given initially had a very small balcony with a broken balcony door that wouldn’t close properly—possibly due to humidity and poor maintenance. I booked a “sea view room with balcony” online, but the balcony was tiny, there was no sea view at all, and the door was broken. When I requested to cancel the booking upon check-in, the hotel refused. They offered to change my room but only to one without a balcony, and refused to refund the price difference. I had booked for two nights. The front desk told me that if I didn’t stay the first night, I could get a refund for the second night—but not the first. I asked to speak to the manager, and they said the manager would only be available the next morning at 9 AM. I reluctantly stayed the first night, thinking I would speak to the manager the next day and get the second night refunded. However, when I finally met the manager, they said the second night was also non-refundable. In the end, I paid full price for a room that did not match what I booked and received no compensation or proper assistance. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Havana Cabana Key West! The pool area is truly the highlight—beautiful, spacious, and such a fun atmosphere with plenty of seating to relax and unwind. The food and drinks were excellent, with great poolside service that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the day without needing to leave. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a fun, vibrant style that fits the Key West vibe perfectly. Staff throughout the property were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. One of the best perks is the shuttle service to and from Duval Street. It makes getting into town super easy without worrying about parking. The only suggestion would be to have a few more shuttle runs during busier times, and possibly extend the final pickup time past 11:00 PM for those enjoying a later night out. Overall, a great experience and a perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. Would definitely stay again!

It’s a pretty hotel however they are trying to be an all inclusive resort and for you to eat and drink only there at their bar and pay too much for the food and drinks! You don’t have anywhere to sit and eat your own food you bring into the hotel except your room! Staff at the front were friendly however bar tenders and pool attendant's were not friendly at all! The shuttle people are nice but Mario is the best and very friendly! We enjoyed the pool very much however like I said unless you are an all inclusive resort you should allow your patrons to eat and drink what they buy outside of the hotel!

Amazing 3-night stay at HC! We were in town for a wedding & extended at this beautiful property. Loved everything about it: waterfront location/walkway, sweet/knowledgeable staff, unique pool, food/drinks, happy hours, daily freebies (towels, smoothies, churros, sunblock/aloe, waters, shuttle to town), patio/pool games, Cuban décor, little gift shop, & beyond. The room had everything we needed & an amazing view of the pool day & night. We saw the staff constantly cleaning common areas & everything was pristine. Loved all the birds & hotel’s mascots (lizards & geckos-haha!). We would have been content to never leave the resort, but we enjoyed our time on Duval St. & the Harborfront as well. Definitely ck out the Hemingway & Truman houses for some culture & Zachary Taylor fort/beach, which was picturesque. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Keys for whatever reason. I hope to be back with my other adult children soon! 🌞

Everything is great at this property. The rooms are clean, the pool is amazing. All staff extremely friendly. Bartenders are great! But if you need something you need to ask. When you get tour room they text you, and then You can text the property anything you need or question. Very accommodating. Everyone is in a great mood, even guests are friendly. Food and drinks are good.

We stayed 3 nights for my 40th Birthday. The rooms were clean and the shuttle service was incredible. The pool was fantastic! Make sure you do not bring any outside food or drinks into the pool area. It is not allow.The bar tender at the Flama cabana was not just totally unprofessional but down right rude to us. Other than that everything was great but we will stay closer to Duval our next visit!

Overall decent facilities but nothing impressive. Rooms are very small. The layout of the property makes pool access easy but the bar stays loud late into the night and is directly adjacent to rooms, not ideal for families. Limited food options on property. Some of the staff were great others were not friendly at all. Shuttle service was a big plus.

Insgesamt unfreundliches Personal. Checkin erst um 16:30 Uhr obwohl alle Zimmer fertig waren. Und das prinzipiell, wir haben das beobachtet, niemand kam vor 16 Uhr in sein Zimmer.
