  • #TroveOn A couple miles north of Key West, on the right is Boca Chica Rd, follow that road as far as you can and you'll get to the beach at Geiger Key. The road comes to an abrupt stop, the rest of it was destroyed in a hurricane years ago but you can park there and walk out. The beach is secluded and quiet, except when the Navy is holding flight practices. The planes are so close, you can see the pilots!

Definitely recommend for anyone interested in exploring the Keys: good location, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and beautiful pool area. Started our days with breakfast on the screened-in balcony, then explored a new beach or downtown area, and ended with relaxing in the hot tub. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved the Hyatt Beach House in Key West. The associate who checked us in was very helpful. We got a room with an amazing view of the sea. The unit very clean and comfortable. Loved the well-maintained premises and it was a pleasure walking around in the early morning and evenings enjoying nature and the peaceful ambience. Would love to go back and stay there again.

This resort is perfect for a family. The rooms have full kitchens, two full bathroom as well as a pull-out sofa. The room was recently renovated and luxurious with a giant shower in the master. The pool was not busy when we were there even though it was over New Years. My daughter was able to swim everyday and we could read by the pool- it was quiet and perfect. We ordered snacks and lunch from the tiki bar and they were great! Each room has a screened in porch as well which is gear in the AM and evening. There are some small biting bugs. The evening so be careful on evening swims. The screen room helps with this! We were told there was a contextual breakfast on Mondays only. We went down for it and the front desk said there wasn’t one that week…that was the only thing that was off from our stay.

Our room was fantastic, beds were very comfortable, AC worked well, the screened in deck was a really nice place to relax which also provided extra living space for a larger family. The room was exceptionally clean. Pool was very clean, well maintained and an easy temperature to enjoy.

At nearly $700 per night, expectations were high. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, which is already late, but what was most disappointing is the 10:00 AM check-out, which feels far too early for this price point. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large living area. However, service fell well below expectations. When asking about turndown service, I was told it is not offered. Despite reserving for 5 guests, I was informed that I had to prepare the sofa bed myself. The bedding stored under the TV had an unpleasant smell and did not feel freshly cleaned. The next morning, I requested a late check-out, especially since we had no time to enjoy the pool or hotel amenities the previous day. The request was denied because the next guest wanted early check-in. As a Platinum Amex holder, I expected at least some flexibility, but none was offered. At 10:02 AM, while we were already leaving, a housekeeping employee aggressively knocked and pushed us out in a rude manner—while eating in front of us, which was unprofessional and embarrassing. Many guests appeared to be treated the same way, with staff gathered in hallways rather than actively cleaning rooms. Overall, the experience felt like poor value for money. Hyatt should seriously reconsider the 10:00 AM check-out policy, staff training, and overall service standards
