when we arrived at the hotel, we were told our room was ready and headed up. i went into the bathroom to find hair all over the place, and not cleaned. i went to call the main desk, and the phone didn’t work. i went into the hallway and told the front desk lady, who said room service was on the way to clean it. we then had to wait in the room while room service rushed and cleaned the bathroom and mopped the floor, leaving me wondering what else in the room wasn’t cleaned properly and delaying us from beginning our trip. the stay was good, the location was nice, but very loud at night because of the close by bars and live music. we expected that but just something to keep in mind, they play until around 3 am. when we went to check out, we asked where we could store our bags because our flights weren’t until later in the day. they told us they do not have a place to store guests bags and we can leave them in the breakfast area but they take no responsibility if they are stolen. i don’t see why they can’t put them behind the counter or in a closet. i’m sure guests ask to store their bags often, it is a pretty standard request at a hotel. then, we came back a few hours later to get our bags and go to the airport. we decided to sit for one minute in the breakfast area to order an uber. then, a random man asks if we were staying there, and then told us we need to leave because he is having a private conversation. it was a public lobby and we were paying hotel guests.
