This is not a 5 star hotel but the beds were clean and comfortable. We had a large room with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave and full sized refrigerator. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was nothing special but typical grab & go options. I heard they are getting a toaster and will have bagels and toast as additional options. The heated pool was great for a relaxing float. The hotel is in a great location and we love the Tipsy Rooster bar. The only negative was that the floors could have been cleaner.

Really nice old school motel vibe… room was updated and beds were very comfortable. Great location close to some cool places. I really enjoyed just sitting outside of the room under the covered porch, especially during those rainy periods. My kids loved that they had an ice cream truck on premises. We had a great time!

Would stay here again without question. The property has a lot of character. It is a bit dated and in need of a little more cosmetic attention. Things like discolored/cracked caulk, paint gone, can see outside thru the AC unit, bathroom fixtures flow slow, etc. Having said all that, the place is clean, well kept and in a perfect location relative to beach access and Duval Street. It took a couple days to get used to the breakfast area. They basically put out the allotment for the day and when it’s gone, it’s gone vs a hotel chain that tells you breakfast from 7-10 and they continually restock throughout. Again, no big deal and it doesn’t impact my higher rating. The staff was helpful and polite and we enjoyed the nightly entertainment at the tiki bar. If you are like us and don’t spend a lot of time in your room other than sleeping and showering, this place should be on your list to consider.

Great location! Outside of the Duvall Street bustle but within easy walking distance to everything, including the beach, grocery store and restaurants. The onsite outdoor bar, the Tipsy Rooster, features great drinks and live music. The onsite pools are great. One has plenty of room for the family and the other is heated and provides a quieter, more laid-back and secluded place to relax. My go-to place in Key West for affordability and convenience!

The place is very rundown and needs a major overhaul to bring it back to life. Upon seeing the motel from the outside, that was our first indication of how rundown it was , our room inside was just as bad, but it was clean. Both pool areas are decent. The place is very overpriced. I won’t return.

Rooms are decent. Clean, could use some shelves in the shower, but big shower. Great area. Pool is warm and clean. Staff.... Not sure what is happening there... Not very friendly, they say good morning when you speak to them first. We gave our # so they could advise when room was ready, but nobody called. Went back at 4:30, room was ready. Asked about bike rentals 3 times before we got an answer other than yes. They have a sister property where you can use the beach, but we were never told about that.

They charge a resort fee. Their is nothing offered for the fee. You can see day light around the door.If they stick you in room #40 you are next to the music sound coming thru the wall. At least its muffled so all you get is garage sound. Will not stay there again!!!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Our room was so quaint and very clean. The pools were lovely and it was nice to have one heated. Location is excellent. We parked our car and walked everywhere.
