We stayed at a sister property, Sunset Point, which was also a 3BR 2BA condo in the same Sunset Marina complex. The condo was perfect for our needs (two small families traveling together). The condo was in great shape, very clean and was tastefully furnished. The kitchen was fully functional with lots of storage space and was open to the great room so it allowed for good conversation with others during meal preparation. The laundry proved to be very handy and allowed us to pack less for our stay. The great room was roomy and we could comfortably seat everyone in our group. The views from the balcony were spectacular! The name Sunset Point was perfect since the sunsets were particularly beautiful from the balcony. It was great to wake up with a view of the Gulf of Mexico and palm trees right outside the windows. The pool and hot tub area were very well maintained and frequently we were the only people there. There was a little store at the marina so you could walk there for a quick supply of basic things milk, eggs, toilet paper, etc. The location was very quiet, private and we liked the gated community aspect to the location. We appreciated the ability to easily park and not deal with the parking meters and limited parking that are challenges if you stay downtown.
The overall complex was very well maintained and you could always see the maintenance crew trimming the vegetation, cleaning the stairwells and they were very responsive to any questions or issues we had. There was an elevator to help bring up luggage and groceries. We all agreed that the condo was perfect for our needs and we would certainly stay here again for future visits to Key West.
