We booked 2 rooms at weather station inn and were charged more than $800/night per room. Our flight from Boston was canceled and we arrived 1 day late. Despite repeated contact with the Inn, they did not hold our rooms. We were transferred to a significantly worse room at the Opal Key resort - which they called “an upgrade”. I expected that we would only pay the $300/night rate of our replacement rooms, only to find out that Expedia is considered “pre-paid” I am sick to my stomach at how much I was over-charged. More than $3000!

Nice small and cozy hotel inside Annex, parking is included, water and coffee is complimentary, breakfast is very simple. At walking distance to the main street in KW. WIFI disappointed as i had to stay in the bathroom to have wifi. This is very simple to solve but they seemed to know the issue already.

Breakfast was good but even though we were few guests, there was not a table to have the breakfast. The location was the best because of the tranquility and the beauty of the neighborhood, and the closeness to the most representative historic attractions of the Key.

Jennifer is excellent and bends over backwards for any guest request. The hotel is charming, however if you are on the top floor it requires you to walk up a flight of stairs that is outside. Rainy mornings make breakfast difficult. We worked around it. If the stairs are a concern request a room on the main floor. The location can’t b best. The pool isn’t great however you may use the facilities at the opal both pool and gym which is awesome. Highly recommend

Great location. Walkable from Duval street and Zachary Taylor State Park. Inside a gated complex, so very safe. Excellent communication (before, during and after the visit). Breakfast is very basic, but sufficient. Rooms were spacious and clean. Free parking! Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Weatherstation Inn. The location is incredible - walking distance (we love to walk!) to literally everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and quiet. Our room was quiet even though it was near the door and the breakfast setup - and I'm a picky sleeper. The property is small enough and attracts a nice clientel so noise really wasn't a problem at all. The breakfast is great - individually wrapped fresh pastries, protein bars, Chobani yogurt, peanut butter, instant oatmeal, fruit. The small pool is quiet and nice for a quick dip. You have access to the Opal Key Resort if you want a bigger pool (we didn't end up doing this because we ran out of time, but we did stop by that property and it was nice). One thing to note - if you are checking in outside of 3pm - 5pm then you check in at Opal Key (it is very close by). We were there at 3:00 so this didn't apply to us. I would absolutely stay there again. It is charming, clean, and quiet.
