Power supply is off grid - 24hr solar power with generator backup. The system is set up for your comfort with in place appliances only. Please do not bring or plug in any other electrical appliances as the extra load could cause a power failure. (phones, laptops, iPads and CPAP machine without humidifier are fine)

Fraser Island is an isolated, natural & wild destination. Please do your own research to ensure you have the necessary knowledge, equipment and mindset needed so that you know what to expect and can get the most out of your stay.

IMPORTANT:
Only 4x4 VEHICLES (4WD) are permitted ON Fraser Island/ K'GARI.
If you do not have a 4WD vehicle you will not be able to board the barge to get to the island.

Spacious and neat beach cottage. It is set up for the simple life and is airy and got plenty of room. This is a great location to be able to access the north and south parts of the island. Bree is always amazing and accommodating.

We’ve visited Happy Valley plenty of times, but this was our first stay at Dingo’s Den, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The accommodation is nestled in a peaceful spot in the Valley, offering an ocean view and breeze. The space is super clean, comfortable and was just what we needed for our 5-night stay. It’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect for a few days. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the barbecue was great for outdoor dining. Bree is a super friendly host, and great to communicate with. Thanks for an awesome stay, we will be back!

Thank you Bree for Dingosden! A nice 2-bedroom house in Happy Valley, we felt welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived. We had a view of the ocean from the verandah, a big dining table and nice comfy beds in the 2 bedrooms. Off-grid power, hot shower, fridge and freezer, a gas stove for cooking. And a whistling kettle for our cups of tea, which reminded me of Grandma's house many years ago! I'll definitely stay at Dingosden next time I visit!

We’ve been to Fraser numerous times,decided to give Dingos Den a try. Enjoyed the house itself, knew there wasnt going to be any fans so decided to purchase some cheap pedestal fans and bring them along. Once we arrived, we discovered there are no power points in any of the bedrooms or the lounge room which resulted in us having to buy 2 extension cords and a power board from the local store at a ridiculous price, which was a must on 35 degree days. Also there was no shower screen on the shower and water went everywhere with every shower. I understand at peak times prices rise but for the price we paid for the accommodation, I think this should be something for the owner to consider prior to charging premium pricing. All in all, not a bad place to stay.

We loved our stay at Dingos Den! Bree was so welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The location is spot on — right in Happy Valley and just a 50-metre stroll to the shop and bar. It was the perfect base for exploring K’gari. We’ll definitely be back!

The overall cleanliness of the property was great. plenty of room inside and with seating both inside and outside the property. Convenient hose to wash down car and other things located at the front of the property. BBQ and deck area is great and spacious. Close to the shop and beach. Even offered bait for fishing. Deep freezer and fridge provide plenty of room for food storage.

Our stay at the quaint dingos den was so enjoyable! Love the location, the beautiful breeze through the home, stunning untouched, wild landscape of the property and surrounds. Thanks to Bree, the dingos den was a well equipped, clean, cozy home on a beautiful wild and native property for our Fraser stay and we can’t wait to return!
