Nice condo for a family

We enjoyed our stay in Kamaole Sands. We have young kids and the condo was great for our family, with a washer and dryer in unit, a nicely stocked kitchen, and easy access to the pool and beach. Check in was a breeze. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Great location

It was a decent place. The kitchen area was developing this rotting smell toward the last two days and couldn’t pin point where it was coming from. Other than that it was a good location Kam III for snorkeling/beach and food.

Good parking and buildings are quiet in the evenings. Our condo was well laid out and supplied with everything we needed. Couple minor issues came up during our stay and Rentals Maui fixed them right away. Overall I would highly recommend this unit and Rentals Maui.

Beside the Construction & the walking distance, place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condominium was quite appealing until we completed our registration, at which point we were informed that parking would be distant due to ongoing construction on our building. Had I been aware of this situation prior to our check-in day, it would have been beneficial, especially considering my mother's back issues that make walking difficult. This aspect could have significantly enhanced our experience at the condo, however, we adapted by borrowing a wheelchair to facilitate our movements between the vehicle and the unit.The condo itself was satisfactory, although it appeared that some work was still in progress. I noticed a tear in the window screen at the top left, indicating it was incomplete, and there were two loose trim pieces beneath the countertop near the phone and at the bottom, for which I took photographs. Additionally, the hair dryer in the main bathroom was inoperative, necessitating a trip to the other bathroom for laundry needs.We attempted to contact housekeeping on two separate occasions over the course of two days, however, we did not receive any response or callback regarding our request for a trash bag. Fortunately, we were able to manage by disposing of our trash ourselves, as my family consistently handles waste disposal on a daily basis. The entire house was well-stocked with various items, which was quite impressive. I would rate this experience five stars.We enjoyed a lovely view of the mountains upon exiting the front door. The balcony was nice, though the view from it was not particularly impressive. In summary, it was a wonderful place to stay for six nights, conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and various shopping and dining options. I would certainly consider returning in the future.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was clean met all basic needs. Our A/C broke and the fuzzed right away. We had a crazy perfume smell one day. I think the ventilating from wash and dryer is bad. This made me crazy due to perfume sensitivity.

Comfortable unit

We enjoyed our stay here, the unit is a bit older but is comfortable, clean, and is located right across the street from a great beach. We had a minor issue with the A/C in the master bedroom, but the property management was responsive. My only suggestion, for this and all VRBO’s, is blackout curtains in ALL bedrooms! We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, good place to stay. Felt safe on the property. Condo could use some updating, but the pictures were accurate. Washing machine is on its way out, owner should consider replacing it..it's super loud on the spin cycle, sounds like a jet taking off. Stereo doesn't work. LOVED the proximity to Kam 3.

A/C was filthy so cleaned it ourselves and worked a little better after we did. Rugs in unit are tripping hazards as they aren’t flat. Had a good stay overall and got what we paid for.

The only problem we had was that we couldn't figure out how to switch on/off the ceiling fan and use the TV. Had to turn on the wall switch in the master bedroom and then manually switch the lamps on and off. The a/c unit was either on or off. Fortunately, the weather was cool so we kept the a/c units off.

Great location, nice stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience traveling with friends. The best day we had was simply walking across the street to the beach and swimming next to turtles in the water. One weird thing happened, my husbands wallet was taken from our stroller and was returned to the front door with his $100 cash missing from it. Not sure how they figured out where we were staying so we are upset that the person that took it was watching us. However, we are really happy it was returned. Anyway, booking with maui rental and the staff during our stay were extremely helpful. We would definitely book to stay again just being a bit more careful with keeping our stuff secure.

Maui Kamaole Sands March 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My fanily of 4 stayed in Kamaole Sands Resort condo 4-301. The condo was perfect for us. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with comfortable beds and furniture. The condo came with everything that you would need (including 6 beach towels, 6 beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas...very nice to have). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook (which we did about half the time). Condo is within 10 minutes of walking distance of many shops and restaurants and is right across the street from multiple beaches. We did not spend much time at the pool but it was nice for the time we were there. Pool is on the small side and gets deep fairly fast so if you have small children they will not have much room to stand/play before needing to swim but that was not an issue with our family. Resort grounds were very nice and the staff at check in was great. Would highly recommend this condo.

Good location, poor customer service

Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit is nice, although it was frustrating to open the games and find most of the pieces missing. Not five stars, but we didn't expect that. The frustrating part was when we left. Flight cancellations and delays were hitting everyone. Our flight was delayed by about three hours and we asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere while we waited for our flight. The staff refused to help us and said that it was the property policy that no bags could be stored anywhere. For what reason? Just to make people's stays more difficult? Our flight was delayed due to weather and there was nothing we could have done to prevent that. We have never stayed anywhere that would not hold bags for an hour or two to help a guest.
