Maui Sunset is a beautiful condominium, extremely well taken care. I have to say that the property is really nice. Grass very well maintained, we saw them clean the pool every single morning, they also have several gas grill, which are also cleaned every morning. There are always maintenance people taking care of the property. Now, the unit we stayed is another story. B115 is completely neglected unit. Floors were absolutely disgusting, my white socks are garbage now. They have one vacuum cleaner and a cordless, but both don’t work. No mopping or anything to clean the place. AC unit in the main bedroom was completely corroded, and the water would drip in the wall and we would wake up to this huge bubble on the wall. Bathroom was horrendous, one shower head was good but the shower stall was so tiny none of my kids wanted to take shower there, plus the rug was disgustingly dirty and the other bathroom had a tub but the shower head was like a drizzle, so I couldn’t wash my hair properly. Now the famous couch of this unit, read many reviews complaining that it’s old and uncomfortable, to us that wasn’t really a problem, the issue was how dirty it was! My husband couldn’t seat there as his skin would itch. Overall the unit was bad, neglected and dirty. We will definitely stay at Maui Sunset again and recommend this condo, but stay away from unit B115.

Parking was good. There are a lot of parking spots that you can park in front of the property. It’s a little outdated and maybe need a little of TLC and update. The view was perfect. The beach and amenities are just in front of the condo. The only downside was cleanliness. I was told the property was not ready yet bc they are cleaning but I still saw lizard “poops” on top of the counter, floor and beside the fridge. It was so visible. I was able to sweep it but the expectation of they cleaned it was so disappointing.

I thought this was a handicapped accessible unit. It did have a ramp from the parking lot. However the tiny bathrooms with low toilets and no safety bars make the bathrooms ineffective. The high dining room table and tall chairs for the dining room and bar make it difficult to eat.

Our family enjoyed a four night stay here. The property is beautiful. I liked the murphy beds which were a good use of space in the living room. The condo is very convenient on the first floor and has everything you need provided. The bedroom is small but comfortable and is next to the parking lot and outer walkway with a sliding glass door that’s concealed with drapes. Sometimes people were loud in this parking lot during the night and you could hear them talking and yelling. That is the only minor thing that was an issue.

The grounds and pool are beautiful. The unit we stayed in has not been kept up and needs to be refurbished. It was dirty, missing tiles, mold and rust in the shower. The refrigerator leaks water from the freezer down into the fridge everyday. Really worn and I will not stay again.

Very outdated. Place is in need of something. Kitchen cabinet lights were missing. Toilet whistles, I’m not kidding. You flush it whistles until the tank is full. Cookware needs to be replaced. One pan was really bent, like someone bashed it on concrete. Sofas felt/looked filthy. The only great thing is when we walked outside to our lanai. Just beautiful landscape. Definitely won’t be back. The pictures they post are very deceiving.
