Tv didn’t work they have construction going on had to take the stairs they have dust everywhere from the construction this place really needs to be closed during this time it’s awful and cost over 100 to stay here or close to it

Worse stay ever
We booked last minute upon checkin we noticed the room we had booked wasnt even the one we got. The pics arent even updated. We walk in hallway and its smells just like Marijuana mind you we have a 12 yr old and 1yr old. Two mins later we get a call from the front office that we have to many people in a room stating for us to leave. Plus we have ants in the room and everything smells old and looks yellow. The people in the front are so unprofessional.

We have looked into the matter and found out that there were 4 guests in a single king bed room, also the hotel is non-smoking so we don’t permit any smoking within the property. We do apologize incase some guest smoked in the hallway during your stay, and we do ensure that appropriate actions were taken to prevent such incidents. We will make sure appropriate actions are taken in order to maintain professionalism. We wish you safe travels.

The property has a lot of potential… The outside and common room isn’t bad. The rooms on the other hand. There were cigarette burns in the sheets, and on the comforter, three pillows, that were not the best. I ended up going to Walmart and getting pillows because those hurt my neck, I left the pillows so hopefully the next guest can have a decent pillow. There were cockroaches, on the walls, a dead one on the wall that looked like had been there awhile. Honestly it has a lot of potential, but right now. I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you had no other options.

The staff was friendly but there was a moldy smell in the room and mold on the carpet and a dust ruffle of the bed. I had originally planned to stay for 2 nights, but I was unable to due to the mold in the room.

Very unwelcoming place.
They were extremely rude. Complained that I had kids. Snapped at one of my children for no reason. When you walked in all the lights were off in the lobby. Not a welcoming place at all. When we got to our room, the lights weren't working and they had to come up and fix them. Ended up leaving the hotel and getting a room next door at the Holiday Inn

Nothing bad to say about this place. We spent the night here on our way to Arkansas. It was quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly, pool area was very nice and clean as well. Great place to stay in your are spending any time in Kilgore.

When I checked in to my room the it was COLD, they had not attempted to turn on the heat. the smoke detector was chirping, I found 2 floor tiles in the bathroom loose/wobble. We I informed the front desk about the detector & tiles, they did not offer me another room, just said they would see about fixing the detector. also there was no hot water, they had mentioned they were waiting for the plumber. when I returned later that evening the staff told me he would follow me to the room to fix the detector, then was pulled away. when I got into the room the detector had stopped chirping. I called down to inform. no one ever came to check on the floor tiles. it ended up being 3 tiles loose/moving. when I checked out, I was still not offered any discount on that stay or future stay. I would have assumed since I did not make a fuss & put up with the tiles, detector, no hot water, I would have been offered something. Also there was NO Breakfast that morning,,,,,,,,,,

Half the outlets didn’t work, one lamp didn’t even have a lightbulb in it. The tub was visibly cracked and had tape over the cracks. The shower head had come away from the wall. AC made an ungodly loud noise when on. There was an entire bullet hole in the window!

Service was good at the front desk considering they were very short staffed. Property could use updating with the systems for the key cards. We could not use our key and had to get the housekeeper to open our room and she said that we were not the only people who had trouble with the key. Could be considerably cleaner with more attention to the common areas.

Wasn't able to accodate
Ok stay, hotels.com gives out promotions but for the 2nd time now you have to be VERY watchful of the room they offer at a discounted rate. I got a smoking room by accident and tried to change with the front desk but they said it would $20-30 difference go from smoking to non smoking same room. I tried to mask the smell but the stains and burns from other people's ciqarettes is just tacky. Felt super gross and unclean.

Won't get what you reserved
Clearly reserved king size, non smoking. Hardly any cars in parking lot but told only king available was smoking room. Could not find any smoking rooms. Had to upgrade to suite at increase price. Ripped off!!
