On The Mapp #2 is ready for your next OBX vacation! This bright and beachy cottage is conveniently located in the heart of OBX on the soundside at milepost 6 in Kill Devil Hills. Cottage is 3 beds & 2 bath and located on a beach access street and two streets away from beach access with parking! Minutes away from the sound, multi-use trail that runs along Bay Drive, and public gazebo dock that's perfect for watching sunsets.

Kyle and Megan were perfect host and truly have a lovely place. They’ve thought of everything and even a few extras. Bright and Beachy describes it to a T! Clean and comfortable, relaxing and roomy, and fun for the family are other descriptives I’d use. We are already planning our next stay.

OBX weekend

The property was in a perfect location for us. I normally run the half marathon but could not this year and the location allowed us to support all the runners. Clean and well maintained it suited all our needs. Definitely will stay again in the future if available.

Great beach cottage!

Loved staying at this beach cottage! Perfect location for marathon weekend. The welcome gift bag was such a thoughtful touch. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

OBX Dream Vacation

The home is beautiful....light, airy, peaceful, relaxing and extremely accommodating. The location was great and very accessible to restaurants, stores, etc. The Mapps were very friendly and responsive Hosts.

Fun and relaxing beach trip

This place was amazing. So super clean and comfortable. My 2 year old and 8 year old really enjoyed their stay here, as well as the grown ups. Just a great location and well maintained property. We will definitely be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay and the owners are extremely helpful and responsive. The house was clean, the location was perfect. We enjoyed the multipurpose path on the sound and walked to the ocean. The house had everything we needed.

Great time for families

This was our second time staying at this property. The location is great, as it is located near two food stores, and many restaurants. The drive to the beach is very short, parking is plenty, and there is also just a short walk to beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend for families.

Beautiful Clean House

My family really enjoyed our vacation and stay in this house. It was very clean and already stocked with necessities like paper towels, toilet paper, and soap. We would happily stay here again if we visit Kill Devil Hills again.

Spring Break ‘23

This was our first visit to the Outer Banks. And we can’t wait to come back. The house was perfect for myself, husband and our 16 year old daughter and her best friend. Great location, comfortable for down time.

Bright and airy cottage home

The property was very clean and comfortable. Location is convenient for beach and sound side access. The only challenge is crossing the major highway to get to the beach. The home has easy access to sand dunes and a short ride to the wild horse tours. Both of which I would recommend!

Such a cute little house with amenities! It was perfect for our family of 6 with three bedrooms and 2 full baths. I liked this location though you have to drive across the street to get to the beach (we did not mind at all!) Due to four lanes of traffic but it wasnt hard at all getting across in a vehicle. When you go out of the house you can go right to the beach or left to the sound. The house already had 2 bicycles that my daughter rode to the sound to watch the sunset, which was gorgeous! Will definitely be staying here again!!
