"Drifting and Dreaming"
Golden Strand Condo's unit G2 is an oceanfront condominium located at milepost 7.6 in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This beachy 3 bedroom/2 bath condo features an extreme oceanfront view, full size kitchen, private balcony, and more! This is a non-smoking / no pets unit.
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach front Condo is a great family vacation home. The beach is right outside your door - you can't get any closer! The unit sleeps 6 (feel free to bring an air mattress to sleep more). The master bedroom has its own private bathrooms with a private view of the ocean.
The living room has a beautifully decorated living area, flat screen TV multiple end tables and coffee table. The wet bar includes a sink. The dining area has a seating for six. The open well-stocked kitchen, with electric stove, and dishwasher looks out toward the dining and living areas. Along the back wall of the unit is a sliding glass door which opens up to the great private balcony overlooking the ocean. Here you'll find more seating for relaxing, reading or watching the beautiful sunrise in the morning. Or in the evening you can sit in the screened in patio in the front of the unit and enjoy a sunset. Completing the unit is a full size washer and dryer on site.
Outside, you'll find two fabulous pools (one just of the kiddies). A playground for the kids, charcoal grill and picnic area, ample security parking, and an elevator. For your convenience, there is also an open outdoor shower.
Get away, relax and enjoy your mornings on the deck enjoying your morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. Spend the afternoon on the beach watching the dolphins and pelicans and swimming in the ocean. In the evenings enjoy a variety of shopping and dining opportunities or relax in the screened in patio.
The Condominium is in a prime location for area attractions, such as water activities, Outlet Mall shopping, Outer Banks history, aquarium and dozens of restaurants from casual to fine dining! This attractive comfortable condo G2 is ready to help make your stay at The Golden Strand unit G2 a fun, fantastic and memorable one.

The floor plan (3 BR, 2 Baths) was perfect for us and the unit was clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels/washcloths, but no washer/dryer in the unit. The kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes, and utensils and there is a separate coffee bar as well. Oceanfront balcony provided comfortable views of the ocean. Just bring soaps for bathrooms and dishes, and ask how to find the elevator! I would stay here again.

A great place to stay. Ocean very close to balcony. Only compliant was the elevator was not always working. Not a fancy condo but very well decorated and had everything you needed in the kitchen.

This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! Even though we delt with hurricane Erin, just off shore we still had plenty of sunshine and great beach weather! The no swimming flags from Tuesday on didn’t bother us one bit and we had exceptional views of the ocean from our living room and balcony. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we could’ve possibly needed. Communication was exceptional with our host and we will definitely be staying here again!

We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect and the view is incredible. We’ve stayed at a number of locations in OBX and this one was by far the best. While the unit and property are not fancy or luxurious, it’s very clean and roomy! The floor plan for the unit is great. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and have a little privacy. The only suggestion I have is a darker window treatment for the bedroom that faces west. There’s a security light right outside the window that lights up the outside walkway. While I’m thankful for exterior security lighting it was like the sunshine coming in the room. We just clipped a large beach towel over the window for the week. Other than a darker curtain for that window I wouldn’t change a thing!

This was our first vacation as a family of 4 and we couldn’t have had a better time. The easy walk to the beach, the private playground and the kiddie pool were a huge hit with our kids. The condo was clean and beds were very comfortable. The balcony and porch were great for us to relax on after the kids went to bed. We will be back!

Great Condo. Great location. RIght on the beach. We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the ocean 10 ten days. Didnt have to drag everything we owned to set up down in the sand. It was right in front of us.An exceptional stretch of weather was the cherry on top

Great location, misleading listing
Location of this property in kill Devil Hills is fantastic if you want to be close to town and directly on the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony with the sun on us, looking at the ocean. Unfortunately, there is no hot tub as listed and the pool is seasonal only, although this is not indicated. The washer and dryer are not in the unit, but on the bottom floor in an unmarked area. The front porch is lovely. Unfortunately during our stay the entire condo complex was getting their smoke alarms tested for 2 hours. Warning that this would be occurring could have prevented us from thinking there was an actual threat and rushing out of the condo. As a whole, the location and close proximity to the beach were wonderful although the listing needs to be updated to reflect the actual property.

Great location.
We are happy with our stay. The condo is at a great location where you can access everything, shops, restaurants, the grocery store (Publix) is within walking distance. We also loved the view from the deck.
The kitchen is spacious which is great for families who want to cook their own meals.

Perfect view
We loved staying at this condo! It was more spacious than I expected, and we had everything we needed. The view of the ocean is outstanding! We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning and enjoying the view in the evening. Being right on the beach is the best!

A perfect vacation
The condo was the perfect place for us. We found the condo to be cozy and comfortable. It is located just minutes away from a variety of activities. We could sit on the deck and be "at the beach" without hauling our gear down to the sand. The owner was responsive to our questions and we would definitely stay here again.
