Home away from home!

We had enjoyed staying at Casa De Paz. It is cozy and comfortable place to stay. A home away from home for a family with little kids! Very good location and easy access to beach.

Good family vacation

House was very clean and close to everything (Food Lion open 24/7, mini golf and the beach!). Cleaning supplies were limited, but owner brought more. Great house for the price!

Great Value - Great Property

Wonderful property right in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Quick beach access and close to everything. Super clean, well decorated, responsive host. Easy checkin procedure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Beach vacation

We came for the 4th of July with a group of 7 of us. The place was only a 12 min walk to the beach and having Publix across the street was great. The house had all the basic necessities.

Clean & Comfortable Home

We enjoyed our stay in this home. The house was clean. The living area and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable for our family of seven. The neighborhood area was safe and near to the beach and other attractions. The host was responsive and friendly.

Location and clean

Property was very close to the beach and Publix grocery store. Kitchen is very important to our family since we traveled with younger kids. Owners were well stocked with good quality kitchen pans and dishes. Thanks

The Perfect Comfort

This was a beautiful home close to the beach! The home had just enough room for everyone to have their own space after being together all day. Host was prompt to respond and answer any questions we had. Will definitely be returning and telling family and friends of the home. If anything, I would suggest making sure you bring toiletries. Overall a great place to vacation.

Great Property for Our Needs

Great property for our family vacation. The location was walking distance to the beach, grocery store, and mini golf course. Plenty of towels were provided, including beach towels, which was great. Easy to clean up with a hose out front and outdoor shower in the back. We spent most of our time outside of the house (at the beach, around OBX, etc.), however, everything we needed was found in the house.

Great place

We had 9 people (5 adults, 4 kids) and had enough room, but pushing it with 4 kids. We knew the size of the place going in, so by no means a complaint. But if you have that many people and prefer to spread out more, keep that in mind. The back deck could use some updating, it’s definitely showing its age but the house itself was great, clean.The owner was very responsive. We were happy with the location as well.

Excellent Rental!

This property was everything we needed for our party of 8! It was clean and nicely decorated. We really appreciated that there were plenty of beach towels, extra pillows and blankets, and all the kitchen appliances we could possibly need. We also enjoyed using the outdoor game. The location was great with only a short, easy walk to the beach. The host was very helpful and responsive. The only negative was that only 2 trash bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for such a large party. We knew we may have to purchase more, but 2 of each was very minimal for the price. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation stay and we would definitely book again!

Great location

This was a great location, the home was clean with spacious entertaining space for our family of 9. I wish they had another bathroom so that we didn't have to share a bathroom with our children (lol) but that's out of their control. We did run out of trash bags. Once we used what was already provided in the can there we couldn't find any more. Other than that it was an amazing stay. They have everything in the kitchen that you would need to cook. If you are going to be traveling with more than 5-6 people make sure that you bring extra washcloths as there weren't enough.

OBX Vacation

For the price the house was small. I believe once they finish the basement it will be much nicer. Outside furniture was dirty and the back deck is small for the amount of people you can have in the house. The grill requires charcoal which is not the easiest thing to cook on for a large group it really needs another bathroom or at least a half bath. Location was great for us. The host was very quick to answer any of our questions. Just wish there was more to the house for entertaining. and to be able to spread out more

Cozy, Clean & Comfortable

We had a brief weekend stay at Caza De Paz. Easy to find, down the street from groceries - super convenient. From the minute we walked in we felt a welcoming, cozy, clean vibe. All the necessities from home. Comfortable beds, everything was super clean! Only a few negatives, can’t really walk to the beach as it’s on the other side of the highway. Would have loved to have had at least one full length mirror, the downstairs was not open and accessible and backyard although clean, the hammock was old stretched out and not able to use. Would have loved if it was fenced in so our dogs had free run to play. Other than that we had a great time, felt safe and everything was updated and within mins of everything we needed. Highly recommend for the price! Thank you!

Very clean, nice getaway

My husband and I brought our 3 boys for a long weekend at one of my favorite escapes. The house was great, VERY clean, and very convenient not only in location but all of the appliances/dishes available. I love being able to find everything I need when I’m cooking and this house provides all of that and beyond. The rooms are great, the beds are very comfy - everyone slept well and enjoyed their personal space. The only reason I didn’t give this house 5 stars is in part to a lack of my own due diligence. We were down to 2 houses - this one and one on the other side of the main road, closer to the water. The reason our boys chose this one was because of the awesome driveway and basketball hoop in the pictures (our boys LOVE basketball and play all the time) and it says there is a fire pit (there is an indoor fireplace, but no fire pit). That being said, a basketball hoop was not included in the list of amenities, so I should have asked the property manager instead of making the assumption that because there was one in the pictures, it was still there. The boys tried to hide their disappointment, but I knew better and was very upset initially. But I made myself suck it up and remember what it’s all about - getting away, being together, and having fun and we did do that. The putt putt course nearby is one of our favorites so we made sure to stop there as well as all of the other great parts of KDH. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone. Very nice

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home with spacious yard. Close to the beach and the main road through OBX. Interaction with the host limited, but friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay. Would recommend to friends and family visiting OBX.

Casa De Paz was exactly the type of place we were looking for to spend our beach family vacation. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and a great open kitchen. We also enjoyed using the BBQ area in the backyard. It was also very convenient being only a 10 minute walk from the beach and the grocery store was literally across the street.I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

The house was clean and location was good! We had a great time and would stay again! The only cons I have that could be easy to improve by the property manager the toilet paper& paper towels provide was very little we bought more, there was no trash bags other than the one already in the trash bin, No wash clothes and the master bathroom the towel hanger was loose and to far away from the shower
