Room was clean, beds comfy, and gal at check in was very sweet. Parking can be an issue. I think if they removed some of the big rocks they have and graveled a little of the grassy area close to the building that they would have better parking. Pool needed to be skimmed of the debris on the surface, but that's probably from all the trees around it which provides ample shade, which we appreciated, and the building could use a good pressure wash to remove cobwebs, as the wall and ceiling of the balcony were covered in cobwebs and dead bugs. These were the only things that need improved. It was quiet and the balcony overlooked the pool and it's right across the street from shops and restaurants. I would stay here again..

They have really upgraded the hotel and it's very pretty. The rooms are comfortable, but we did have issues with the room temps. However, they sent maintenance over right away and fixed it. The only other this is the sidewalk around the pool is torn up and you cannot walk barefoot on it. The pool was clean and there were lots of shady trees and umbrellas. The restaurant and the Grace Jones Ballroom were both beautiful and the food was great. The have robes in the room, which are very cute, but when I inquired as to the price, they were $165 each! The bathroom doesn't have much shelf space and the shower door was quirky. The shower water was either scalding or too cool, but I managed to find a sweet spot. We were there for a reunion and I heard the same complaints from many of the others. But it is worth the money to stay there and the little town is sweet. Close to Salado Creek and shops/farmers goods, a brewery and is lovely. The Mexican restaurant down the street was pretty terrible, but the bar was cold!

We had to change rooms three times during a two nights stay. First, there was no refrigerator in the unit 210. Second, there were no working TV, no coffee pods, in the unit 208. After saying so at the office, we still had to wait for a TV repair technician, the mugs were not cleaned…the only solution was for us to move back to the unit 210 where a fridge was finally installed.

This is a very unique property. We only stayed to 1 night but we were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the room. The yard was big and cute. The only downside is the that the room didn’t have a microwave and bathroom lock. Again. Not a big deal for 1 night stay but could be a potential problem for longer stays.
