「Good hotel. Hotel food is great and price is reasonable. Lots of activities around hotel. A river next to hotel is very beautiful. 」

「Great location, friendly staff, very dog friendly. Room was what we needed after several days wild camping and is what you would expect for an Inn and a building from the 17th Century. Food was also great, unsurprisingly the Salmon is fantastic.」

「A lovely little hotel slightly off the beaten track but within easy distance of Stirling and main routes to the highlands. Beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast. The pub food is really good too should you need lunch or dinner. It was quite warm and humid when I visited with no a/c, although hotel provided a fan, which was helpful. It’s located at a busy intersection, so there is traffic, but given that it’s located in the country, there is still a sense of peace about it. Highly recommend.」

「This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty.」

「Pods were great and practical if tiny. The biggest challenge was the complete lack of storage space in the pod. Other pods we stayed at kept the space under the beds open for easy storage. These were completely closed, so the only space was the 1-2 feet between the beds. We had to climb over our backpacks to get to the door to go in or out.」

「Lovely conveniently placed hotel close to Loch Lomond, with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Plenty of choice on the menu for evening dining. Self service breakfast again with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. The hotel has places to relax just off the reception area, lots of comfee seats Pleasant walk across the road along the bank of the Loch although this is probably busy during the summer season」
