Christmas family winter trip

Small, Beat Up Condo

The location is great, and really there's so much potential here, but this particular condo has not been cared for. The second we walked in we hit the light switch, as with a ridiculously late check-in time(5PM!), it was starting to get dark. No light. Turns out the lamp by the front door had a dead bulb...not a good start, but we were able to find some extra bulbs. The condo itself is very small, and the furniture in the pics is NOT what is currently in the condo. The couches were totally different, and something you'd see in a fraternity house. The nice wood dining chairs with padded seats you see in the pics? Nope, they were hard metal chairs that you'd see in a movie interrogation room. There's no icemaker in the fridge/freezer, and what they provided was the saddest excuse for an ice tray...1 single solitary completely busted up ice tray. Oh, and the water heater was tripped when we got there and tripped continuously throughout our stay. One of the guys in our group was forced to take a cold shower at one point. There is a nice deck on this unit, but no one is taking care of it and it was covered in a thick layer of ice and snow, totally unusable. And because they allowed all the ice and snow to build up, there was moisture coming in all around the slider and adjacent wall. Someone in our group put their bag down in the wetness not realizing it was like that, and ended up with wet stuff. I'd write more, but I'm limited to 1500 characters. Too expensive.
