This delightful property, set over two levels, has a datestone of 1687 and is brimming with period character, including whitewashed walls and ceiling beams. These original features and the country style blend seamlessly with contemporary comfort to ensure an unforgettable stay. Throughout, you will find elegant decor and furnishings, perfect for creating relaxed social spaces for you and your guests. Enter the open-plan living area, featuring a lounge with a wood burner and a Smart TV at one end, and a snug at the other. The main lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating, including a sumptuous corner sofa, to unwind at the end of a day of discovery and is the centrepiece for cosy evenings watching a favourite box set on the Smart TV. In cooler months, enjoy popping a log in the wood burner for some crackle and pop. The snug provides a quieter space for reading and catching up over a drink. Continue through to the dining room, which features a striking ornamental stove – it makes a splendid setting for more formal or celebratory dinners. At the rear of the property, you’ll find the kitchen with a dining/breakfast area at one end. The kitchen has all the appliances you need to make meal preparation a breeze. At the opposite end of the kitchen, walk through a handy utility area to access the downstairs shower room. Finally, you reach a lovely sunroom with comfortable seating, ensuring there are lots of social spaces for everyone to find their favourite corner to relax.
