“Family Cabin #8 was exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay on Lake Wiley! The “tiny” cabin was snug but perfectly cute and cozy, and the view from our bed was everything you could want on an Autumn day or night! The grounds were homey & picturesque, with natural beauty everywhere you turned! Management was friendly, helpful, and very responsive, even outside of office hours! We will certainly be back!”

“It's basically a furnished one bedroom apartment. It's away from the highway so its very low noise. About the only complaint I have is the puny coffee maker :) Denise was very easy to work with. Check-in was a breeze. Wifi was great. While not an issue, the kitchen does not have any pots and pans. Just something to remember.”

“The host was quick to respond as this was a last minute booking and very friendly. It is a beautiful property and TONS of space. The instructions gave for the hot tub were super helpful, it was nice to relax in and the kids loved it! We were sad to leave! Definitely will use this place again if we go to Charlotte anytime! ”

The property feels secluded yet is only 10 min from downtown Shelby which has plenty of stores, restaurants and bars to visit. “Came here for the renaissance festival with a few friends and had a wonderful stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was clean and as pictured, the beds were very comfortable as well! Additional amenities were not provided such as shampoo/conditioner/soap so just ensure to bring your own, though this was not an issue for us. Host was quick to respond to any questions and was very polite. Would stay here for the ren fair again next year!”
